Do the gems look like the ones on the box?

Dear M. Gibbons: I sent this wonderful-looking kit to my 6 year-old (wise-beyond-her-years) granddaughter for Christmas. Here's her reply, which I am copying and pasting, for you: "Some of them look alike and some are not exactly like they look on the box. There were both rough and some polished." She typed the reply all by herself. Hope this helps. When she visited me in January, her mom and dad took her to our Swap Meet, and she ended up with buying a necklace that had color change stones in it and her sister bought a moonstone necklace that had much of reflective properties in the stones. Both girls' eyes light up now whenever natural-color stones are within their vision.

Does the kit include aquamarine

No, I don't think it did. But I'm not sure that they all have the same type in each kit.

How many digging tools did it come with?
