Nirlon Special nonstick tawaa, Flat Base dosa Tawa, 28cm*1.8cm (3 Layered Coated)

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Nirlon Special Non-Stick Tawaa, and I must say it excellent. As an avid cook, I've always trusted Nirlon cookware for my kitchen.The non-stick surface on this tawaa is outstanding. It can make perfectly crispy dosas with minimal oil, and they never stick to the pan. The pan heats evenly across the surface, ensuring that each dosa is cooked to perfection. The pan feels solid and durable. It doesn't warp, even at high temperatures, which is a common issue with some other dosa pans I've used. Cleaning is a breeze with this non-stick pan.The size is perfect for a single dosa/ chapathi and the handle stays cool during cooking and is comfortable to hold.This Nirlon special non-stick tawaa makes my cooking a joy, and I appreciate its non-stick properties. While it's not the largest tawaa available, it's perfect for everyday use and moreover it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend it to anyone as a valuable asset for their kitchen.

The product was delivered in a day and in good packaging. Thanks to Amazon.I got a really good deal(the whole kit for around 900 rupees), so my review will be based on the price I paid for this, and to be honest, it is a really good kit for that price. Anything more than that I wouldn't have liked to pay. As people say it is not very durable and they had complains after using it for few months but again it is okay if you get a deal like me. Otherwise not recommended.Hope this helped.

New Review:- Reviewing it again after 3 months of usage. Still no issue yet.Old Review:- Got it at Rs.1,400 during a deal. It was a best deal I have . 6-Pieces of Gas Compatible Non-Stick only at Rs.1400. It was hilarious.Reviewing it after 4 months heavy usage.It's possible that many people didn't heard about brand 'Nirlon' but I know about it since 2004 because these products are available in Canteens as well. It's very good brand and I don't have any doubt in quality.Please use only Wooden Multipurpose Serving and Cooking Non-Stick Spoon with these pots . Steel spoons will leave the scratches which reduce the life of non-stick coating. I ordered the following : Kitchen Delli Wooden Multipurpose Serving and Cooking Non-Stick Spoon (Set of 5)Also use only soft cloth scrubber to clean them. As it's non-stick, it's sufficient to clean it with soft cloth scrubber.it's very beautiful in design , colour and it is same as in the picture displayed. People who are looking for great product like this at such a reasonable price should definitely go for it.If you are going to receive in a deal like me, it's best choice.All the 6 peices are very useful and you will love to use them for different purposes.Finally it's a must buy product for your Kitchen and your health.

I am writing this review after using 6 month.1. It's center part blowed up a bit and oil is keep getting sliped to the corners.2. It's non stick layer is nearly vanished from the center, due to that it's not a non stick pan anymore.3. Handel is now loose a bit.Overall it's a product.

At our home we have been using nirlon cookware for years and we hardly have to buy new ones and change our existing cookware set. But the amazon Diwali grand sale was exciting and we bought the tawa as a gift for my aunt. She absolutely loved it. The tawa has a thick gauge, smooth nonstick coating, easy to install the handle into the frying pan nd screw the screws in. It’s the largest 28 inch tawa , good for making dosas and chapattis. We personally even fry fish and chicken as it needs minimum oil and gets heated very fast due to its bottom metal. It’s good on the induction plate too. I know usually tawas don’t come with a lid but I wish a dome shape lid could be designed. This would be then a proper all-rounder pan. Nirlon cookware can last for more than six to eight years even if used on a daily basis. Easy to wash nd the screws don’t look like they would rust anytime soon. Basically good quality nd long lasting tawa.

The screws of the handle came off in 3 weeks. The pan is super flat and any oil you add to it travels to the side. The coating is so poor that it wears off and most likely gets into the food that was cooked. Terrible product. Would not recommend.
