Totally defective. Was put together already, temperature plug was not in plastic bag and was installed. I am guessing someone else returned it and they resold it. Not very trustworthy.

This is THE set you need if sore, achy muscles are giving you grief. As someone who cannot tolerate most medications, including pain medications, I'm left seeking alternatives. This set is so well made. The bamboo sticks are all perfectly finished with no rough edges or spots to irritate the skin. The warmer has adjustable heat, and the sticks come to full, highest temperature within about ten minutes. The sticks retain their heat decently, and the bag's insulation means you can pop them back in an warm them back up a bit if they're cooling during use. There was no chemical odor or residue on anything. This would make a fantastic gift for someone.

When I received this set I thought the bamboo was bare but sanded very smooth and buffed. I'm not sure about that as there was an initial chemical smell when heating the first couple of times. I could smell it both on the bamboo and in the bag so I'm not sure if it was a coating on the bamboo or just the heating element being used the first couple of times. After the first few uses the smell was gone. It was probably the heating element as it's typical for them to give off chemical smells when new, but I can't be certain. Just something to be aware of. I am very happy with this set, I've used it over a dozen times so far and while I do wish the bamboo retained heat a bit longer, I still prefer them to my stones in several applications. They seem to help relieve tension and mild aches quite well. As another reviewer said, I think these work better than ibuprofen and definitely better for you. This kit seems to be very good quality that I'm thinking will last a good long time but of course, only time will tell if that's true. If it stands up to a lot of use over time, definitely worth the cost of something goes south, I'll update my review.

This is such an amazing bamboo stick Massage Kit from OnVisit. Have tried few other health & beauty products from them, all nice quality wellness products and enjoy so far. This is no exception another great product. Nice spa like massage quality to relax muscles or improve blood circulation . Designed inside a nice carry bag with shoulder strap (like a laptop bag) keeping convenience and easy portability by therapists in mind. Has a pre-fitted heater at the base. Set includes 12 pcs of high quality bamboo sticks in different shape and sizes like long & short, fat & thin thin , flat & rounds for various body parts . Easy to use. Just connect the cord and place them to warm up per your needs. Nice digital display and settings for temperature control (goes from 86 to 158 deg F) and timer that goes from 1 to 5 hours. Its works for 110V but per some literature it also says works for 220V not sure though. Nice for professional spas or home use. Any concerns - Product feels safe for most part and even has explicit protection measures like over-current , over-heat and short circuit. , but to be honest since heat plate is under fabric I still get little concerned , just hope these materials can handle heat and no fire safety hazard. Overall , I still like it.

i got a funny look from my husband and he asked why i had a breifcase well this case is a heater budddy! i was pretty amped that this came with a case because i have another set of heated rocks - although it came in a wooden box, it's not totally self enclosed and i worry about the stones clunking on each other this case is AWESOME! it holds the bamboo sticks (and i'm throwing my stones in there too) and has small pockets for the instructions and the cord. the whole kit is totally self contained the system heated pretty quickly - within 10ish minutes, they were warm and ready to go i tested all the rods on his back and found that if i held 2 rods together and rolled them, it got the AAAAHHHH effect from him it took him a minute to get used to it - between the heat and the hardness of the bamboo, it helped roll out some major knots he had. pretty sweet set up this is less than a massage at the spa so this is a worthy investment
