This book was phenominal. It guided me through the real estate process with guides and examples along the throughout the entire book. I was pleased with the outcome of this book and what I got out of it. I made to sure to copy all of the examples of real estate forms contained in the book so that they will act as a guide for me once I start my paralegal work. I am confident in my knowledge of real estate law after reading this book. The book offers case scenarios to do at the end of each chapter. It provides a summary of the chapter. The chapters do appear to be long, but that is only because each chapter is packed with tons of examples. It was intimidating for me when the chapters were 40 pages long, but I soon realized why. You will learn alot from this book. I know I did.

Excellent book, well organized
Excellent book, well organized, and comprehensive. This is not a layman's book, but a book for paralegals (or attorneys wanting to get their real property chops back up.)

International - Cheaper, but the exact same content
Page for page, this is the exact same book as the US edition. Except the cover says it is an international version. I compared it to my classmate's US version and there was absolutely no difference inside. Pros: Cheaper than the one at my school bookstore. Comes with a CD that has flashcards, practice quizzes, and more. Cons: It is not the best written textbook I've ever seen, some concepts are not clearly explained - like cloud on title. If you are trying to teach yourself, look elsewhere. I am summa cum laude and this book stumped me a couple of times (until I asked the instructor who agreed that the book's explanation was either incomplete or convoluted.)

Received this book for a Pre-Law class I am enrolled in... Exactly what I needed to use for the class... Gives a good generalization of law on Real Estate.
