Test in a small area first! Didn’t work for me on pure sterling
I bought this along with the aluminum plates for “carefree” sterling silver cleansing. It turned my silver soot matte black (thank goodness I only tested a corner first) and I almost never got it cleaned off! It could not have been worse. Do not recommend!

Cleaning silver
None of the silver cleaning trays with the metal inserts work very well...the activator crystals do make the job a bit better.
