I picked up this volume to fill a gap in my collection. It's really more of the sort of stories you'd expect from the early days of Archie Sonic comics - light-hearted and funny tales. And while it is starting to slip into the more serious adventure focus of the later Sonic comics it isn't quite there yet and is still mostly goofy fun. If you like light-hearted, funny adventures this is a good Sonic book to buy, but if you'd rather the more serious plot-driven stories then you'd be best waiting for some of the later Sonic Archives volumes.
