Pacific Breeze Easy Setup Beach Tent

We purchased the Pacific Breeze beach tent to take with us on a recent trip to the Oregon coast. I practiced setting the tent up in my home before hitting the beach, and it couldn't have been easier. It took me less than a minute to unpack it, lay it out, and pop it up by myself. Collapsing it was just as easy, and they actually give you a carrying bag that is large enough to accommodate the tent after it's been opened. It was the perfect tool to keep us out of the wind and sun for hours on the beach. The sand bags work perfectly to keep the tent in place, even in fairly strong winds. We had a little trouble taking the tent down in the wind, however, and unfortunately somehow ripped a small hole in it during the process. The real reason I am writing this glowing review, though, is to commend Pacific Breeze for their outstanding customer service. I received a follow up email a couple of weeks after purchasing the product, asking how we liked it. I wrote back that we loved the product, but informed the sender that we were bummed that we had put a hole in the tent and the carrying bag the first time we used it and was wondering if they offered patching kits. Within a day, I heard back from the company, and they offered to let me exchange the tent for a new one. I wasn't able to get back to them right away, but a day or two later I received a phone call from an extremely friendly employee following up on my email. I explained to him that I didn't feel it was right to ask for a new product since I was fairly certain the damage was caused by the conditions, rather than the quality of the product. I was honestly just looking for a patching solution. While they don't offer patch kits at this time, the employee informed me of a special glue I can purchase to repair the damage, and assured me that I could always send the tent to them and they would repair it for me. I haven't tried the glue yet, but today I received a brand new carrying bag in the mail with a personal note. I have honestly never dealt with a company that offered such excellent customer service. I will definitely be recommending this product enthusiastically!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I've been looking for a beach tent for a while to take to the dog beach so my pups have a place to rest away from sand/sun when they are done playing. After buying a cheap tent at a department store which took my husband and I 10+ minutes to assemble, this was an epic find on amazon! This product is seriously amazing! Quality is spectacular, and seriously takes all of 30 seconds to assemble, and is just as easy to take down !!!! (Watch video and see!) It is super sturdy and durable and is full of cool compartments/pockets inside, and outside. I will definitely be buying the XL in the future to take to the beach with children!! at first we thought we were splurging for the price, but TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY! :)

We bought both sizes (this and the XL) and we are extremely happy with both. I have attached a side-by-side comparison for reference. We plan to use the XL for the beach and the smaller tent for things like local festivals and airshows.

Our Pacific Breeze beach tent arrived today and I couldn't wait to set it up. I took it out of the box and was surprised how light it really was. I took it out of the carrying case and set it down. I went to pull the two strings on top, but I couldn't (guess I'm too weak). My husband was able to pull the strings with such a breeze and in just a matter of seconds the tent was set!! Yay!! To collapse the tent you just push down on the gray bars that are tagged for you. I was afraid of pinching my fingers, so I asked my husband to do it. :/ He did and no problem. Fingers were just fine. We laid it down and rolled it kind of like you roll an umbrella. We tied it with the nylon string it came with and slid it right into it's carrying case. I love that it comes with 4 stakes and the sand bags for extra stability. I also love the color. I put two folding chairs (large/xlarge) to give you an idea how big it is. It fit three people, but two would be best comfort wise. I cannot wait to use it on the beach!

Easy set up. I'm sure even easier with a second person. Set it up on my own before our trip. Unfortunately noticed a hole once I set it up the first time.Update: We continued to use it as we needed it the very next day at the beach. It was VERY windy and this tent was absolutely perfect! I was never worried that it would collapse. It provided shade the entire time. It is easier to set up with a second person in those types of conditions but one person could do it. Also easy take down and putting it back in the bag.Customer service contacted me immediately to fix the hole situation and we were able to resolve it quickly. I highly recommend this product to my friends and family!The hole was at the back of tent, where the sandbag connects to tent. Just concerned that it would get bigger with use from the weight in the sandbag.Comparing this tent to other tents at the beach, our's was definitely the most sturdy and large.LONG TERM UPDATE:This product does not last. Even in storage. The new product they sent, that had only been used once in 2017, in storage for two years, then back for use in 2019, was eroded and fell apart. None of the black loops lasted. They crumbled in my hands. One of the fiberglass poles frayed when pulling together the easy assembly hub. It subsequently scratched my face and caused a very dangerous splintered end. I was so excited to use this product again, but it isn’t good quality.

Very pleased with this purchase! My order arrived earlier than expected and we were very pleased with the product. Would definitely recommend !
