🌊 Elevate Your Kayaking Experience!
The HarmonyVinyl Micro Kayak Floatation Bag with Stern is designed to enhance your kayaking experience by providing essential buoyancy. With a secure twist valve for inflation and a high-capacity dump valve for quick deflation, this bag is engineered for efficiency and durability. Note that two bags are required for optimal floatation, making it a must-have for serious kayakers.

"Long" size = 43" x 17"
Wow - I have never in my life seen descriptions as useless as the Harmony store here in Amazon, where every single product is currently listed as "Harmony" and it doesn't tell you the accurate size for what you're buying. Still, I had read that these are better than NRS bags and less expensive, so I bought a couple of sizes to give it a try. Turns out the long size is actually 43"x17". Bag quality seems good

Size matters.
You need to check on the Harmony website to verify the inflated size of the bag to fit your particular kayak. The photo used on the amazon website is not correct. So check the size first before you decide which to buy. The workmanship and function of these bags seems very good so far.

Great for hard to fit transitional kayaks
There's a class of kayak, longer than a rec kayak but shorter than a sea kayak. They used to often come not with a front bulkhead but a foam pillar. In my case, it's a 14' with a very pointy shape. These are the bags that fit. PERFECTLY. For a transitional/touring/sea kayak with no front bulkhead but with a foam pillar, these are the bags.Nice heavy plastic, good mounting tabs, inflation tubes work well. I never did find the "dump valves" they describe for fast deflation. My only criticism is that the inflation tubes could be longer. I can't top off the bags while in the kayak, I have to stick my head inside the cockpit from outside.

I have used Harmony products with Excellent results for decades
Fit my WW kayaks bow(2 required). I use these in both my bulkhead boats and my wall boats. There are single bow bags that are avail elsewhere for bulkhead kayak bows without center wall. They often cost more than 2 of these and cant be also used in a wall boat.I have Harmony bags that are from the 90s and still work. Never leave bag fully inflated when You are not on the water. Heat increases pressure and will pop your bag. It is not the bag's fault, it's yours. Remove the bags occasionally to check for mildew and grit, particularly after hard creeking or scouting trips where you were tracking grit and mud into your boat.

Small size for Crossover
I had a hard time fitting a flotation bag to fit my LL remix xp10, but this one fit up in the front. not a perfect fit , but close enough. One really needs flotation up there, if running WW. Really learned this lesson the hard way, several times in big water.

Seems pretty solid
I had a palm float bag that seemed decent, but the spot where the hose connected to the bag tore. I reinforced it with heavy duct tape. I did the same to this as a prevention. It seems well built. It installed fine in the stern of my diesel 70.

reasonable price and good construction
Have used Harmony float bags for years. They hold up as well or better than other bags. NRS currently makes good bags but they are more expensive. I can't say if they are any better.

Great fit - 8 foot creeker boat (select 8-10)
I have a Dagger Mamba 8 and and the 8-10 option fit just great in my kayak (8 foot creaker/white water). Do note, it does not come with any kind of tie downs. You need to use some rope through the holes in the bags or a biner to attach and hold it in your kayak. Although I suspect even if you didn't your seat should hold it into place. Also note, you need to order 2 of these. They are easy to inflate with the little hose attached to the bags and you can close them. I don't think there is a one-way valve of any kind so remember to close them after inflating. To measure the fit I tossed a tape measure into my boat and compared. Solid bags, they do the job.

Tough, large float bag
Let me give you the REAL dimensions first thing - it's about 36" long, about 30" wide at the "widest" end, and about 6" wide at the "tip" / bow end. It has a little nozzle that is semi-annoying to both blow into, and to deflate through, and I don't THINK you could connect a pump to this ? I think it's all lung power baby. Which is fine, even my weak little baby lungs could inflate it in a couple minutes. Deflating it is worse though because the nozzle is so small, you really just sit there squeezing this thing for like 5 minutes to juice all the air out. Could really use a larger, quick-deflate valve or something! Otherwise it's made of a pretty thick tough looking vinyl material so I think it could take some abuse. Overall, I'm really happy with it, I think it's the perfect bag for my 10' pelican sit-in kayak that did not have any bulkheads. Now I can flip over all I want and not swamp/sink my yak lol
