Makes nice smooth idlis
I received it this morning, quite happy as the idlis turned out really fluffy and smooth. I didn't grease the forms, and used home made batter. Made three batches and no problem, all idlis were fluffy and smooth, no breakages. I would recommend this idli stand. It's stainless steel and looks sturdy. Will update after more use.

Holes in the bottom plate
The bottom plate has holes through which idli batter trickles out.. Ideally the bottom plate should not have any holes for steaming. However very convenient to clean and reassemble.
