The first thing I always do when I get a new vehicle is to install one of these. They will indeed give you a slight performance edge mainly in fuel economy, slight but definite. Do not expect the engine to feel like you have grafted another cylinder onto it but it does reduce the effort the engine takes to pull air so this energy now goes to fuel savings instead of just pulling air. They do a better job of filtering than a paper filter and they last longer and hold more dirt. A dirty K&N had less differential pressure across it than a clean paper filter. These easily pay for themselves in just filter costs over the life of any vehicle. The paper filter for my Cayenne costs almost the same as this K&N. It is a no brainer.

Have used K&N filters on many vehicles over the years with no issues. Just installed a set on our 2018 Porsche Cayenne GTS. As usual, can feel better throttle response. Definitely worth the money.

I drive an Audi q7 3.6L 2008 and filter fits well, my Audi goes faster, glides better on the road and it has less fuel consumption. There's a specific cleaning package for the filter that I've ordered and can't wait to receive it. Don't you hesitate if yet you're not using the K&N filter. You will thank me later for recommending it and especially the K&N filter company for manufacturing a filter with such great benefits.

Product was exactly what I was looking for and delivered on time and even a little earlier than I expected. Already made an improvement to my vehicle and got exactly what i wanted so as to replace oem. Horsepower increased as well as speed and my fuel economy looks to have gone up as well for a few. I love the low loud rumble noise it gives off making my engine sound even more powerful than before. I always use k&n air filters on all my vehicles and recommend it to anyone not just for the added horsepower but the fuel economy as well as the fact that you don’t have to replace these for the life of the vehicle but instead just clean and reuse again after the suggested mileage. For the price it’s worth the investment and I look forward to purchasing more for my future vehicles.

A very snug fit, but a perfect fit nonetheless. By snug fit, I mean that the Audi Q7 design makes changing your filters a very involved process that can take a hour or more. Not the fault of the filter. I have been using K&N filters for years and have always been pleased with their performance. After having these filters in my Q7 for about a month, I have seen a slight increase in my gas mileage, and a big increase in the throttle response. The gas mileage improvement, at today's gas prices, should cover the cost of the filters within a month or two. I will also be saving money by not having to purchase the expensive paper filters anymore which can cost as much as the K&N filter. The only downside is that paper filters do filter significantly better than the K&N, but at the expense of fuel and power. What side effects, if any, is a result of those micro particles getting into my engine (maybe shortens the life of the A/F sensors or other emission sensors) I have yet to experience first-hand. At least that I am aware of.

Seems the engine breaths better and even revs smoother on these. Fitment on the right hand side is easier than the left hand side but that's a Porsche design thing. The filters themselves fit and align well and I think the end result is a worthwhile upgrade/replacement.

good fit for my 2008 touareg

I bought this while it was on sale. After installing, my 2011 Touareg 3.6 FSI accelerates better from a stop and the engine sounds quieter during acceleration, in a good way. Now the car feels quick on its feet! Very happy with the product, will pay attention to the fuel economy in the long term and provide update.
