JVC Soft Wireless Earbud with Stayfit Tips, Remote and Mic and Bluetooth Blue (HA-FX9BTA)

Previously bought 2x same item held 6 hour charge. This one doesn't hold a 2 hour charge. Product change? Packaging was different than before too.

Returning! I bought these because Consumer Reports rated them reasonably well, but my experience couldn't have been more different. Here's my take: CONS 1) Like older bluetooth tech, these earbuds have poor range and are easily "blocked". I'm not talking about leaving my phone in the house and wearing the headset onto the porch--I mean lying bed with the phone on my bedside table, moving my arm often disrupted the audio stream. 2) Poor reception digitized or rototicized voices beyond comprehension. Again, I not talking about performance at the margins of it's stated range--I mean in my car with my phone right next to me. You might wonder if this reflects a weak cell signal or an aging phone--I did, at first--but switching to the handset or my car's bluetooth FM transmitter immediately solves the problem. It's definitely the headset. 3) Comfort and stability - This is personal, but my earbuds were constantly falling out. I have some extra silicone tips from a previous headset that I know fit well, but even with THOSE I continued to have the problem. Here's what I think... With a neckband supporting most of the weight (like the LG, Moto, and competing designs) or earhooks very little pull is exerted on the buds in your ear, but these dangle, and that requires a better fit than this product can offer. 4) Sound quality is meh. Not great, but it would have been passable--I mostly listen to podcasts--for the price, if not for all the other problems. PROS 1) The price is right, but who cares, if the product doesn't work.

Sound quality Is very good, battery is life okay and working out alright.

I have a variety of earbuds, a few high quality (aka..expensive) ..the JVCs are a favorite. I'm able to remove the buds and wear around my neck vs risking dropping a single earbud.. while the sound quality isn't incredible, it is good. Especially considering the cost! I'll buy again

I've used this brand for a long time, and different colors every time. Great pair of headphones... when they work! Not sure why when I order from Amazon, the headphones comes broken. They won't charge, even brand new out of the box. Having to keep ordering replacements means I'm going with another product or brand altogether. It's a shame because these are so cute and convenient, especially for the price!

I bought these because I so often find myself falling asleep listening to the tablet (music, soothing sounds, even tv shows). In the past, I had worn out cords with the abuse of sitting up on my elbows and accidentally pulling the cord, etc. Between that, and wanting to be able to listen to whatever podcast is playing on my tablet without having to carry it around, I thought these would be a great solution. The Gumy (with cord) fit great, and reduce noise as well as 31 decibel rated headphones, so I thought this would be great!! Boy was I wrong, wished I had heeded others warnings. The battery was out within 1.5 hours and needed to be recharged. The volume was also much lower, even with the iPad volume up at max. They were a waste of money and I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

This is my 2nd set. my first one still works I just wanted a 2nd one to use while the other charges. I use these on long motorcycle trips listening to music and streaming my GPS voice direction. Due to the size the battery capacity is low so having another is a great alternative. I use these pretty regularly on the motorcycle so they can take the abuse.

Claims that after 2.5 hr. charge you get 5 hr. battery life. Reality takes 2.5 hrs. to charge but only get maybe 4-3 hrs. of battery life. And on top of that for last 45-30 minutes it beeps insistently to the point of driving you crazy. No thank you. Bought a pair of Bluetooth Groove onn. earphone buds from Wal-Mart for less money, they have a 7 hr. battery life for a 2 hr. charge, sound just as good and best of all no insistent crazy beeping.

Comfortable backup pair of Bluetooth earbuds. The sound quality is really good for the price.

They barely hold enough charge for a 3 hour use. Not satisfied at all. Sound is ok for the price. But now, not even a month later they keep on having the blinking red light, won't work but won't turn off until the batteries are drained. Useless.

Suenan excelente los bajos y agudos, la batería dura hasta 3.5 hrs con todo el volumen, la sincronización es muy sencilla y la detección post para vincular es muy rápida, lo único malo es que siento que lel control y la batería son un poco grandes y para correr se sienten un poco incómodos de primeras veces ya después se acostumbra uno.

La batería dura como 4 horas y cachito. Solo que si le pondría un poco más de volúmen. Pero de ahí en fuera bien y por el precio más
