Be aware, it is not a full horshoe magnet.
It is not a whole magnet-- but it holds small magnets in the ends. But it works.

Not sure what else to say. It is a magnet. Bought it to test metals in coins, works great and cant say enough of the evolution of magnets.

False advertising!
I thought this was meant to be a true horseshoe magnet--nope. It's just a horseshoe shape with two dinky little magnet discs in the ends. Won't even stick to my fridge. Definitely a waste of money--it's not even strong enough to function in the elementary school science experiment it was meant for.

Fake piece of crap
This magnet is lame! I thought it would be a whole real magnet but actually has two tiny magnets imbedded at the bottom of the horseshoes... No north and south ... Total lying piece of crap. Wish my kids never opened the package so I could send them back. Even my 5 yr old was disappointed.

Not a great magnet. I was hoping to use it for some fun experiments with my toddler, but the magnet wasn't strong enough. It's a nice shape for small hands to grip, but magnets are only on the very bottom, and they are pretty weak.
