They're nice enough boards. The finish is a little unrefined but not too any extent that actually matters (especially after a few weeks use). The only reason it is four stars is that I have a similar older board which was a nicer example (but, at the time, was much reduced from a frankly terrifying price).I'd also like to note that the seller, Grace Everest Ltd., was very easy to deal with. I initially received a board which was cracked but, having got in touch with a photo, the seller sent a replacement out immediately and with no fuss.

This item is nice enough and I guess I shouldn’t have thought it would be great quality for the price but the item was not even properly sanded when it arrived it is very rough and I have had to re sand it myself and re oil it. Was pretty disappointed when it arrived.

The one with the handle seems great so far... its a flat cutting board not much else to say about it... currently tested my meat cleaver on it and its dealt with it well and had a good 2-3 handwashes fineThe large board was bowed and as I took it out the plastic bag and gave it a little shake to get the plastic bag off it snapped clean in half along the glue line... im about to write to the seller to hopefully get this sorted but its natural wood which has been glued so these things can be expected but I thought it would have had some form of check before it left the manufacturer

Both boards are rough around the edges, making cleaning an issue when your cloths snag against the fine splinters.The wood is a beautiful colour and doesn't mark easily when chopping on it. But why does it smell so bad upon opening?It stinks like a dirty litter box! I looked around my house for days trying to find my cat's "accident" before realising it was the wood. I've had the boards for a few months now, the smell is fainter with washing but never truly gone. Makes me wonder if a cat ever did baptise it before shipping 🤔

I have bought these as a present for my husband for Christmas to replace a much-loved board which split in 2 recently after 40 years of use. My 5 star ratings are based on what is said in the advert, so I am hoping the items will live up to their promise - as yet they are not in use, or even opened. However, looking at them I am very pleased with them, though time ill tell if they are easy to clean and durable.

Was glad to receive my 2 new boards and replace my less hygienic plastic one. It looked good when I unpacked it. I put it away in my kitchen 4 days ago. Just took it out of the cupboard yesterday and the smaller one has already badly warped before I even used it! The bigger one has started to do so slightly too. They might too thin or badly dried out before selling. I wish I had not bought them. Move away or you will end up with a wobbly chopping board.a few weeks later, I need to add to my original review and concur with some other reviews that the board keeps a very bad smell of previous food even when washed properly and dry. I really wish I had not bought them. I am now looking for a proper olive wood board.

I returned the product as soon as I got it. I didn't even open the wrapping. The larger board arrived with a huge crack in the middle. The top half of the board is practically split in two - to the extent that I thought it was designed like that. But then I realised that the lower part is intact and that the advertising pictures online showed the board without such cracks. Also, the handle and the sides of the smaller board are very rough and not properly refined. As a consequence, the wood is scratchy and spiky. For that price, this is unacceptable. It is also very annoying to have now the bother of returning the product, finding another one and wait for delivery once again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
