Metal band
This is the 2nd knob we have had to replace because the plastic keeps on breaking. This knob has a metal band around the area that keeps breaking. We have big hopes that we will not have to replace the knob again!!!!

Hot point dryer knob fail
This knob does not work for my hot point dryer. It will not turn the dryer on, appears to fit, but is slightly larger than knob needed. Received item in a timely manner.

Replacement Knob for dryer timmer.
Replacement knob for the dryer. States for my model but the hole is larger than the shaft size. Putting a piece of black tape around the shaft works like a new timer.

Bought 2 in several months because it keeps getting stretched out or slipping on the shaft

Easy fix for timer problem
The timer on my dryer stopped working. At first I thought it might be the whole timer mechanism but I removed the plastic timer cover and was able to move the mechanism and get the dryer to work. I looked up the model number and found the replacement timer cover. An easy fix for what at first I thought world be a costly repair. The second cover worked for several months and then I needed to replace it again. Not sure why the timer cover keeps cracking but replacing it is an easy fix.
