This company needs to work on their packaging (basic plastic) but the contents are wonderful. Maybe they just have a no frills philosophy. Ok I can deal with that as long as their products work and they do. I’ve been using the brightening cream for weeks now and I do see more even skin tone. I have hyperpigmentation around the nose and chin from acne scaring and sun damage around the eyes and cheekbones. I feel like the discoloration is less noticeable. This medical grade brightening cream is fine for sensitive skin which I have. And Ive been using it with other gentle chemical exfoliating masks and have had no irritation. I just make sure I moisturize well. I think the hydration of this product alone would be fine for most but my skin has been on the drier side lately so during the day adding SPF perfectly hydrates my skin. And at night I add a little oil on top as an occlusive. I don’t smell any fragrance. My skin completely absorbs the product and after several minutes feels like I have nothing on. Very important for me that every layer absorbs and is dried or else my face ends up feeling sticky or worse pills when I put on make up. No issues with this product or the ingredients layering over toner, or with more moisturizer, spf, oil or foundation.

This is cream is odorless, which I love, since I am sensitive to perfumes. It does a great job of making my skin feel moisturized without feeling greasy. I put it on before applying my makeup and just after my wash routine in the morning. It definitely helped to brighten my skin and keep it moisturized all day. I am not able to speak about whether or not it approved skin tone, as that’s not really my need. Overall it is a great product.

This will sort of be a review in progress as time goes on. What drew me to this product was that you can use it with tret and hydroquinone. There's not really too much else that you can stack with them without having a reaction or damaging barrier etc. So, i was intrigued with this one as I use the highest tret formulation, .1%, along with 4% hydroquinone. It has been 3 weeks since I started using this serum. It has not caused any kind of irritation whatsoever. It layers nice with the tret and hq and doesn't cause and pilling. It doesn't seem to cause any excess photosensitivity. I am treating melasma for the past 20+ yrs, so I know right away when something is making me even more sensitive to the sun because the spots and patches will get darker with just the threat of a ray of sunlight. It is lightly moisturizing, but at the same time it induced very light flaking in some areas, BUT it wasnt due to irritation etc and I didn't mind it at all. Heck, peel alllll my skin off and let me start fresh, ya know lol.. take it allll please! So, this mild flaking which only lasted a few days was actually welcomed because just as with tret, that new fresh skin is revealed afterwards. This serum seemed to give a lil boost in the areas that could use a little exfoliation, so it wasn't a bad thing at all. It does seem to help with texture and it does seem to be helping suppress pigment and overall skintone. I am going to keep using it and finish up the bottle. I don't expect something like this to show true results for at least 8 to 12 weeks, as is typical with any products to treat hyperpigmentation, melasma, etc. So, I am curious to see how it goes in weeks to come since it has only been 3 weeks. My main thing at this point is that it truly does work well in tandem with the tret and hq with no irritation, no redness, no dryness etc. It doesnt make my face angry at all, even when used twice a day. The instructions say you can use it after your tret and hq, OR as a mask and then wiping off any excess. I see no need to use it as a mask and I feel it would be a waste of product to use as much as would be needed for it to be a mask that can be wiped off. It absorbs into my skin so nicely and a little goes a long way, so id rather just use it as an every day serum and make the most of it. I will update as time goes on, but so far I am really happy with it and with what i can see so far in regards to giving a boost to the tret and hq. No scent, no oily finish, non drying, no pilling, no irritation, adds a little moisture and causes no irritation, all while giving a little boost of improvement with overall skintone and appearance. What more could I ask for?
