Finally! Replacement for Trader Joe's pane guttiau
Finally! Parchment crackers to replace the old Trader Joe's pane guttiau that was discontinued. There's nothing quite like this, and it's pretty hard to find, as they are slightly different from traditional pane guttiau. These are amazing. Light as air, impossibly crunchy, they shatter and dissolve in your mouth. Very tasty from the olive oil, salt, and wheat, without being overly salty or greasy. Satisfying on their own, and wonderful with cheeses, spreads, smoked salmon, etc.Sure, they arrived partly cracked--even though they were extremely well cushioned by a double layer of bubblewrap. I think it's more of an issue of internal packaging and transportation (not sure how Trader Joe's kept their crackers whole). But to be honest it didn't bother me much. They were cracked in large enough chunks that I can still enjoy them with toppings. They were not pulverized or anything extreme. And this is the only way to get them, so I'm willing to have them in pieces if this means I get to enjoy their wonderful taste.Please don't discontinue this product!

Thin and tasty
I love these; they are are equally tasty with toppings or by themselves. Beware though, they break easily because they are so thin.

Delicious!
My family & I love these! Unfortunately, they disappear too quickly. It’s WAY too easy to eat a whole box in one sitting! I do wish there was a bigger package, like Costco used to sell. As for the cost, it is a once-in-a-great-while treat for us… Overall, a great tasting snack on its own, as well as with a meats and cheeses and olives spread!

Closest to the real thing
Just came back from Sardinia... had a family bake these from scratch. This is pretty close to what I had that day.

Too fragile for most applications
Yes I wanted a thin cracker but this does not hold together for anything. If you dip it in hummus, it breaks. If you try and spread a cheese ball spread on it, it breaks. If you bite into it with a piece of salami on top it shatters.
