Countablock (An Abrams Block Book)

What a fun way to learn to count! This book is great for early learners and beyond. It begins with easy numbers and then moves up for more advanced children. As a Kindergarten teacher, I can appreciate the value to children understanding numbers, their patterns and groupings. THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!!

Such great quality. Pages are thick and very hard to damage - perfect for kids who tend to be a little rough on books. My kiddos LOVED all of these books, so much so that I have bought several for gifts over the years as well. Very nice quality board books, and much bigger and more educational than most.

Great book and price.

This book is clever and creative! It counts up to 100, with emphasis on 1-10, 20, 30, and so forth, with the intermediate numbers included in an concise but efficient manner, so as to not make the book 100 pages. Each number has a theme depicting a process, such as 6 balls of yarn... become 6 sweaters! Boxes become forts, kernels become popcorn, tadpoles become frogs, etc. The pages appear to be of sturdy material and the illustrations are bold and beautiful. I bought this for my niece and look forward to purchasing more for family and friends! I prefer children's books that are enjoyable for the adults too - this won't disappoint! I also purchased Alphablock, which is excellent as well, but if you have to choose, get this one.

Great Abram’s Block Book

I was hooked on the first page--one acorn becomes one oak tree. This is a sweet and interesting book. My 2 - year-old usually listens to 6 or 7 pages max, but this keeps her attention, sometimes all the way to 100! She likes tracing the cutout numbers with her finger, and I like the fast paced fun with interesting things to talk about on each page. Great illustrations and the binding seems strong for a thick little book.

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it did help them learn to count and understand numbers. The only downside is that it is so chunky that the spine is easily cracked, but I consider it a must-have anyway!

Counts through 1-10, like most numbers books, but what sets this one apart is that it marches on to 100 by 10s (10, 20, 30...90, 100). It is fun to track all of the different items used to count the growing numbers. One of the better counting and numbers books for toddlers.

I was looking for a one of a kind numbers book and found this one. Its a beautiful book with pretty illustrations and cutout presentation of numbers. It is a thick book with numbers from one to hundred. Whats amazing is that the illustrations are such that the child can easily count bigger numbers. All other -block books are great too. Its a 6.5l, 5.5w and 6cm wide spine. If you are buying for 1.5 or 2 year olds then dont leave the child unattended with this ( or any other lift a flap , cut out , pull and slide book) beause it may not tare but it can bend and leave a mark. That said its a beautiful book to learn and keep.

My 2 year old son had the Dinoblock and Alphablock books and loved them. Got him this one and it's a hit! Goes up to 100 and teaches more than numbers. These books hold his attention and he loves reading them himself or having us read together. Great addition to your child's library!
