Serami 19oz Black Large Classic Mugs for Coffee or Tea. Large Handle and Heavy Duty Construction, Set of 4

Ok here's the bottom line.... This mug allows you to brew a cup of coffee on your ninja (the normal mug, not travel,) and then you can add about two inches of the delicious creamer of your choice to said coffee. Then, without having to skim any off the top to keep it from spilling, (burning your mouth in the process,) provided your floor is relatively free of pet or child detritus, (Legos, tennis balls, shoes) you can take said big cup of coffee and walk to your seat of choice WITHOUT SPILLING A DROP BECAUSE THERE IS STILL EMPTY SPACE TO THE TOP OF THE MUG!I don't really give a rats butt about anything else. They do go in the dishwasher. They are very well made and won't chip easy. They are made in China, (they aren't made of steel, they don't need to be made in Germany....)I don't heat mugs in the microwave so I have no clue about that. I'm just happy I'm not spilling hot coffee all over the place every morning, which is why I bought them.:)

Finally a mug that holds essentially a Starbucks Grande amount of coffee and is wide enough to use Sur la Table’s 4-hole ceramic dripper! I couldn’t believe my luck that it came in exactly the color I wanted - cobalt! And for a great price! But it gets even better . . . .This set of 4 mugs comes well-packaged along with a card saying that if a mug chips within 90 days, to contact the company for a replacement. One of mine did chip, and when I contacted Serami asking for a replacement, they sent another whole set of 4 mugs with an apology for the (admittedly short) delay! The entire world is experiencing supply-chain delays, but how many companies will take the extra step to build goodwill instead of making excuses? At least one.Bottom line: Buy these mugs. You won’t regret it.

I was looking for larger mugs to use in the microwave and came across these on amazon. After ordering they arrived in two days well packaged and in good shape. After unboxing I was pleased at the sturdy appearance of the mugs and have been equally pleased after using them at how comfortable they are to hold. Overall a very pleasant Amazon purchase. I noticed on the bottom that they were manufactured in China and was surprised by this a little as the information about these mugs says "FOR AMERICANS, BY AMERICANS!". I realize it says no where in the information that it is manufactured in the US but that was still my expectation when I ordered the mugs. I'm always willing to spend a little more for items made in the US. But you can't go wrong with these mugs. The were a great purchase.

The mugs are attractive, a deep cobalt blue. They are well made of a nice heavy ceramic, the glaze is not chipped or uneven in its application. I expect them to last for quite sometime. The price point is a good value when compared with other mugs in the 16-20 oz capacity.My only problem with them is that they are not anywhere near 19-20 oz capacity that is listed. I have used two liquid measuring cups and they only hold 16 oz if they are filled completely to the rim.I suspect that there were changes in the manufacturing process and the distributor has not noticed or has not updated the product description accordingly. Or perhaps there are differences in the 3 options that are available (white, black, blue).I have subtracted one star for the difference in the description, really though i would give a 4.5 if i could.

I’ve been searching high and low for years for a 16oz or larger ceramic mug that has a big sturdy C-shape handle that i can comfortably fit 4 fingers into. And one that actually holds 16oz when not “filled to the brim”. I want 16 oz to drink, not some theoretical volume that’s impractical to hold without spilling. And this it it!! Billed as 20oz to the brim, it comfortably holds 16 or 18 drinkable ounces. The glaze is gorgeous, no pits or defects that I could see.A pleasant surprise was the quality and care taken with shipping. Each mug was individually wrapped in lots of bubble wrap, and then actually double boxed with additional padding. The company enclosed a note that said they would replace anything broken in shipping, just send a pic of the broken item. This is a convenient way to get a replacement, rather than go through Amazon.I adore my new coffee mugs!

I've had these for 3 years now. At this point, they are dear friends. Every single morning, I use one for two cups of tea/coffee. These are not the ones you save for company. These are up to the challenge of daily use and abuse. The 19oz is the perfect size for me. I've used a coffee press for tea for decades now. These mugs perfectly hold half of a carafe with a little room for milk and enough space to carry it without sloshing it all over the place. I have them in white but I'm probably adding the blue ones soon. These replaced some wider mugs. There is less surface area on whatever I'm drinking so it stays hot a little longer. It is the perfect shape and size.

I received one, BIG, mug decades ago. (It actually had BIG written on it!) The writing has long since worn off, and I recently chipped a piece of the lip. It's my favorite mug. Whenever I have houseguests, I've noticed that it's their favorite mug, too.I definitely wanted more of these big mugs, but I couldn't find anything similar. The Serami mugs are perfect for me: All 4 of my fingers fit in the handle; my thumb rests comfortably on the top. (Someone with larger hands may prefer a wider handle with a slightly larger opening.) The mug does get hot in the microwave, but the handle stays cool. This is a heavy mug that isn't going to tip over easily. Sometimes, I use both hands to lift it. I love it.
