I've bought the coarser steel wool this same company makes, so I figured they were a safe bet when I needed to get some finer-textured pads for scrubbing off mineral/soap scum buildup in the bathrooms. As before, good quality and value, no complaints.

If you get water spots on your chrome this is the best and easiest way to clean it. The pads are durable and thick enough to keep them together for quite a bit of polishing. Easiest way I have found to clean the chrome on my motorcycle. Versatile enough to use on aluminum if you are careful

I use this product to get the water spots off the windows of my vehicle. They work to perfection. I highly recommend you buying this product if you're looking for something that's not very abrasive when you try to remove water spots from your window of your car. Two thumbs up.

I have struggled with terrible hard water stains on my house and car windows for decades and tried every product on the market without much success.There's no getting around it; it takes a whole lot of effort and hard work to remove hard water mineral deposits. Many products claim to work but do very little, and some only mask the stains temporarily. They all require substantial pressure and lots of rubbing, and a heavy buildup of mineral deposits can take an eternity to remove. It is tempting to use abrasives but be very careful... They scratch glass!This 0000-grade steel wool removes mineral stains from glass fairly quickly and effectively. However, it does leave extremely fine scratches that can only be seen from oblique angles when the sun's rays are almost parallel to the surface. And if you have heavy, repeated mineral build-up over years, it's still going to take heavy work to get it all off. I had a sprinkler system watering my windows twice a week for years, and that level of build-up is pretty severe, but it was still possible to remove with this wool and lots of scrubbing.Cerium Oxide is a glass polish that can remove fine scratches and mineral deposits extremely well, but it takes so much time and hard, messy work.

We used this to fill holes around our apartment to prevent mice from getting in. It works great!
