Excellent chili, but beware of dented and damaged cans
This chili is awesome. Love the chunky / no beans option.BEWARE OF SELLER: CA GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION- all 6 cans that I got were badly dented and really damaged. They were not broken open, but we're definitely the cans that didn't sell in a store, and were sold online where the buyer can't complain about having a jacked up can.As an example, they are so banged up, they won't stack on top of each other without falling over.

ABOVE-AVERAGE CANNED CHILI
HORMEL CHILI no beans is always in our pantry. This version is a bit sweeter, and maybe a bit hotter, than the regular style. But it is not FIVE ALARM hot by any means. My overall impression is positive, and if you just want a quick chili, maybe with canned HORMEL tamales, it sure is OK. I also like the HORMEL regular style product. I appreciate Amazon having this available because we cannot find it in our town.

They changed the recipe and it is no longer soy and gluten free.

Sadly, lots of Soy!
Sadly, to use less beef but pump up the "protein" grams, Hormel packs its chili with lots of soy, something lots of us want to avoid!

Bad packaging
The chili itself is delicious but unfortunately one of the cans had split open and had to be thrown away; which makes for a very expensive chili. The "accident" didn't happen during shipping because the Amazon package was intact. It seems it happened during the manufacturer's packing.
