I priced this part out at Toyota, they quoted $300. I paid 80 dollars here and the fit is exact the look is identical with only one exception, the handle is metal, which is a major upgrade. Had it taken apart and replaced in 30 min. Zero effort. Oh and they said 2 weeks to get it and it was here in a week.

Direct replacement for the OEM Plastic handle. It slipped in with no hassles and should work longer than the truck does. Looks like the OEM handle but is much sturdier and matches the rest of the exterior parts. If you need to replace your tailgate handle on a 2008 series Tundra, get this part. You won't regret it.

Definitely do not purchase. This handle was definitely not as described. See my video - it’s 100% plastic. It’s not an upgraded handle. It’s cheap plastic. And not as rugged as OEM.

My husband had to replace this handle on his 2011 Toyota Tundra tailgate it was easy installation , it was an improvement over the OEM and the cost was very affordable, cost was way less than the dealership’s!Very easy to open, looks great, works with eas!
