Toddler fav!
The media could not be loaded. The best toys! High quality. Will last forever! I bought this for my oldest when she was a toddler. Since then my other two kids have played with it. So even after 3 toddlers, it still looks brand new.

Durable and fun
So prior to having this one, we owned the Melissa and Doug version. Well, my son had that thing in literal pieces. Plus the solid wood hammer and balls became a hazard when my son would find them. We ended up trashing it. So I went on the hunt for a new one and discovered this one! What I love: the balls are durable but will not hurt if they get thrown at you, The hammer is lightweight, and the boat shape is fun and instantly got their attention, once the balls roll down they stay with the boat instead of rolling away. The only con I’ve found is that occasionally a ball will stop on the lower slide if there wasn’t enough momentum. All you have to do is tilt it though and the ball comes out.

Best purchase
Hours of fun! My ASD toddler loves this toy. He gets his aggression out and learns his colors while having fun. It’s one of the best ball pounding tables out there and we’ve had a few of the wooden ones- not great. We love that it can be on the coffee table or on the ground.

Fantastic, colorful and durable toy!
I had one of these when our children were little. They absolutely loved it! I was so excited to see they still make it but with a darling boat design. I purchased this for our 2 year old grandson and he loves it!

Great toy for toddlers and preschoolers
Even though my 3yo son is on the upper range of this toy's age group, he loves it. In fact I bought it because he loved it so much, he played with it at school and cried and cried about having to leave it there. My 1yo daughter also likes it, she is just getting the hang of hitting the balls with the mallet but it's very entertaining for her. As an educational toy, it's a good "passive", non-electronic toy that still keeps kids interested. It's very well made and good for play / language development.

Kind of a one trick pony
First of all, this toy is really cute and colorful! I bought it for my son's first birthday, and he initially loved it! I set the balls up for him, and he happily whacked them and watched the roll down the ramp. However, it got old after a few minutes. How many times can you whack a ball and watch it roll down the ramp? I really, really tried to use this toy in different ways (like trying to have him match the color of the ball to the color of the hole at the top of the boat, or turning the flag so that it blocks the balls from rolling down the ramp), but it just did NOT hold either one of my children's attention. I even put it away in the garage for awhile and then brought it back out a couple of weeks later to see if my children might have a different reaction to it. However, it was always the same: initial excitement and then disinterest. I will say that it gets 3 stars because it is an extremely well made toy. The balls are made out of heavy plastic that cannot be crushed. The boat is solid, and so is the hammer. Maybe another child would have a different reaction to this toy, but it wasn't a hit in this household.
