I purchased these as low lighting for our offices & they look wonderful. They're a nice touch & we've received many compliments on these lighted trees. I've purchased several times for self use and as gifts. They won't last forever, especially if used outdoors, but in a sheltered area outdoors, we've gotten 3-4 years out of them, which is sufficient. We use ours on a timer & they work just fine. They're easy to bend into shape out of the shipping box. The base has holes for screwing them down if you wish. We simply put some decorative bricks on the base, although they're unnecessary, as they stand on their own just fine. When placed outdoors, I would recommend the bricks or screws as they will blow over eventually. On the last set I purchased, I had one fail for the first time within the warranty period so I contacted the company. They were absolutely wonderful to work with & after a few emails & some photos, they shipped out another set. It's nice to find a company willing to stand behind their products. I would definitely recommend & will certainly buy again when needed.

Update 1 year +3 mo later: I have had this tree on for days on end over the year and it’s still going strong. Still looks good and no light issues whatsoever!!! I had my doubts on quality after reading some of the 1 star reviews on here, I was holding my breath. But to my relief, I got a nice quality tree and I’m happy to review about it!! The product came in a timely fashion in a well organized box. It came with a single instructions sheet but the tree is self explanatory on how it goes together (only 3 pieces). The base and middle piece are thick plastic with a little weight to them which is nice. The top with the branches is easy to bend around and twist and set up how you want it. There are white flexible wires on the ends of each branch that could be used to hang light things on or you can bend and twist them too. The top part of the tree up close is slightly cheap looking, but it feels good quality. I plugged it in and it too about 2 seconds for the light to kick in (almost freaked out for a moment lol) but it lit up with no problem and all lights work. The lights are warm, which is exactly what I wanted. I am using this tree in my baby nursery for a soft light to have on in the evenings. I am considering getting more of these because I love the look of it in here so much!

Depending on what you use this for, you'll love it or think it looks cheesy. I have mine in a corner of my living room and I leave it on a dawn dusk timer all year round. It lets off a subtle room light. Kind of a glow, if you will. It is not visually that attractive up close, but from a distance it looks nice - tucked away in a corner for mood lighting. I also hang Christmas decorations from it during the holidays. I have had my first on for over two years 24/7 on at dawn and off at dusk. it is still lighting. I bought a second one before the 1st one fades away to make sure I could get the exact same item. Pros: Very long lasting LEDs Nice mood lighting easy to assemble Cons: It looks a little shabby up close. Its mostly white tape of some sort wrapped around sticks that you bend out. The stand would look better if you covered it with some sort of cloth.

The size of this tree on what I purchased clearly says 6feet!!! It is not 6 feet!! It is 53 inches top. Then when I go to write this review, it says 4 feet. Very deceptive. Below is the actual wording when I purchased it. Why when you go to put a review it says 4 feet? The tree is cute but not worth the price I paid thinking I was buying a 6 foot used tree. Please read below ....... this is what I thought I bought. Look at my picture and see if it looks like 6 feet!! I was looking to replace 2 of my 3 existing, outdoor- twinkle light- aspen trees for the holidays. I had previously purchased 3 varying in height, at Restoration Hardware 15 years ago and, sadly when I went to replace them, the store no longer exists. (At least not where I live) Since I was already behind schedule for decorating, I hit that “buy now” button lightning fast! While this was in fact a warm white tone of light, was a fair match in pattern of trunk, height, and appeared water tight, I still ended up sending it back. Here’s why: Unfortunately, the NAME is very misleading. My fault for not researching further? Absolutely. For a tree named “twinkle star” that doesn’t in fact “sparkle” or “twinkle” at all, (…rather, it has one mode, which is a “steady on”. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. As seen in the video, the shorter of the trees is from restoration hardware. The other is the above mentioned Amazon option. Not a big deal if you don’t mind keeping it steady and simple. Pros: It casts a nice warm white tone. It has a sturdy base, is assembled in 2 minutes and is safe in the Oregon rain! However, as I am comparing to my previously purchased trees, it lacks: Cons: Zero Branches from base to mid trunk. The whole lower half is naked! The branches are not wrapped with wired fairy lights, rather they have a singular LED light at the end of each prominent branch. (Not EVERY branch, just the main ones) I also noticed, that while overall sturdy in its base, if the individual branches were manipulated too much upon styling and “fluffing” the tree, sometimes they would literally fall off. Like the aspen colored tape that they are wrapped in, somehow came loose! Or they weren’t tucked in deep enough? Overall, because I was attempting to match an existing tree, for my needs, I’d call it a less than ideal/below fair dupe. But, keep in mind, the previous trees were $199.00 each, compared to this one at a whopping $37! Still, I returned it and purchased another brand and style. So, the search continues!
