This is a delicious way to add protein to your diet without adding carbohydrates and sugar. I work as a cardiac nurse and we can get pretty busy at work with limited time to eat. Bringing this along is a quick way to get some protein without the added carbs. Eating a lot of carbs make me feel bloated and uncomfortable so for me, the isolate is the way to go. It mixes very well and there is no aftertaste. It's only mixed in 6 oz of water so it can be consumed quickly and back to work I go. I've bought this several times and it's helped a lot.

I really enjoyed this protein. I feel as though the protein is of extraordinary quality and the taste with 2% milk is like a vanilla milkshake.... best tasting protein period. My one complaint and reason for switching is that each scoop is 38 grams with only 25grams of protein. The filler? As you can guess from the taste, a lot of sugar additives. This resulted in a lot of gastroenterological discomfort for me. However, I greatly enjoyed this protein and I feel as though it was fairly anabolic and potential highly conducive to bodily vascularization.... My vasculature really started to pump during the period of time that I took Syntha-6 Isolate.

I originally purchased the small, 7 serving container of this product. I was so impressed, I bought this large jar - which is VERY large. Comparing it to the other vanilla flavored protein powders I've tried; Isopure, Nectar and EAS - the Syntha-6 is BY FAR the best. It tastes just like a vanilla milkshake with no protein aftertaste at all. It mixes well with a blender bottle but I now use the Nutri Ninja and it's as silky smooth as a ready to drink protein product. In my opinion, the only thing better than the Syntha-6 vanilla protein powder, is the Syntha-6 chocolate protein powder. They are both great mixed with skim milk or cold water. I also like to mix a scoop of the powder into 1/2 cup of plain non-fat Greek yogurt. It tastes like a thick chocolate/vanilla pudding and boosts my protein intake even more.

I have mixed feelings about BSN SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE. Yes, it is a high quality protein. Yes, since it has fast and slow metabolizing proteins, it can be beneficially used at many times (like in the morning, before bed, before or after work outs). This protein powder is good enough that I will use all of it I have, but I will almost certainly never buy this particular protein powder again. It simply has too many calories and carbs. There are other protein powders with more protein per serving and fewer calories and carbs. Additionally, this powder gets too thick for me. Perhaps some people will like how thick and creamy it gets (even in water). After all, a thicker shake is more filling, but it isn't smooth. It is gritty. I find it harder to wash residue from BSN SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE from my drink shaker than other protein powders. Lastly, the taste of BSN SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE is what I feel most conflicted about. The actual flavor is good. In fact, I would love the flavor if it weren't so sweet. It is so sweet that it has occasionally given me a slightly nauseated feeling. Overall, I can't say that this is a bad protein powder. It just isn't for me, and I can't recommend it for anyone else.

Good product just artificially flavoured

The product was supposed to be the BSN syntha 6 isolate what i saw in the product description, instead of syntha 6 ultra premium protein matrix which they sent me. I don't know whether they understand the difference between syntha 6 isolate and syntha 6 ultra premium protein.

Chocolate flavor mixes well with water and the vanilla is best with milk. Taste good either way.

Not effective... bottle seal was open... upon that plastic wrap was attached with heat gun so user cannot identify the product...was open... worst product...
