Game Changer!
I really like this lumbar pack. It has plenty of storage for wading around the local creeks. I usually take it when I am float fishing with a centerpin. Holds all my floats, leader material, flies, loads of sinkers, and I even carry a Glock 20 in it sometimes. Of course you can get this much storage with a backpack but you cant remove a backpack to get at your gear while wading and holding a rod. This you can rotate to the front, tie on or change your fishing rig, then rotate it to the back again and your fishing again. Really does make a difference. I thought the price was kinda steep but its worth it. Would buy again.Never really had a problem with it coming lose like another on here mentioned. Only time i can think of is if I am wearing it in the front and i have layers of clothes on and heavy jacket. Then it pushes down when I bend over at the waist but that is expected.

I liked the bag except for a few small moments
In general, I liked the bag except for a few small moments: I did not like the fastening and adjusting fastener - the belts hang and it's inconvenient to refill them, although they hold well, when you put on a full heavy bag these belts are constantly stretched, maybe in the future the producer will rework this node ; Also, it seemed to me uncomfortable for the retriever - it's necessary to use low-profile retrievers and it's on the clip, not on the buckle, on the fasteners, so hiding the retrievers is uncomfortable, maybe it's a fee for versatility, but the distances on which are made for the retrievers are a bit bad combined with the size of the tools that are attached to them. The tools are poorly placed under the protection of the lid. Perhaps this is personally my observations, and the evaluation is highly subjective. In general, a very high quality bag for this money. Overall assessment is OK, but there is something to refine. Thanks to the manufacturer for such a good product.

Overall it’s Great
Love it. Great space. Love how easily the accessories are easily in reach. Only complaint is that people with smaller waists won’t be able to use it without the shoulder strap. Even after it’s at its smallest, it remains loose on me. I’m guessing a minimum 33-34 waist?

Great pack.
Really nice pack. Comfortable, easy to use. Shoulder strap is perfect. More than enough pockets for all of your equipment. Highly recommend this pack. Umpqua makes a great product.

Pack too easily becomes loose
This pack has a lot going for it and one major flaw. First the good. The pockets are designed well with lot's of storage and places for accessories. I especially like the places for retractable zingers to hold your nippers. The small pockets on the side will even hold a small compact camera. But, it is missing a dry bag inside to keep your phone/keys dry in the case of a catastrophic event like falling into the river. And the worst is that this pack is constantly becoming loose and slipping down on the waist. I have not loaded it full of heavy items, just the usual stuff, but it doesn't do a good job keeping itself up high on the waist. It does come with a neck strap if you want to use that which might help. But my whole reason for moving to a waist pack was to get the weight off of my neck and down onto my hips. Unfortunately, because of this, I can't recommend this pack.
