So far the surface is perfect, nothing sticks and easy to clean. Downside is that the grease tray is shallow and barely holds the grease from cooking a pound of bacon.We got a set of pans with this coating before and they’re holding up great so far as well. So far Starfrit’s The Rock cookware is the best cookware purchases we’ve ever made. Hopefully they continue to hold up.

It has hotspots like a real griddle while I kind of expected an even heating surface.I may have missed that in the instructions but I don’t think so.Once you get used to where the hottest parts are (top right to bottom right)It’s good. I bought it specifically for pancakes and it works pretty well over all.

Used this tonight and the bacon came out perfect. Cleanup was a snap. Definitely a great purchase.

We replaced our previous Rock with another reluctantly. The legs on one side of the first one cracked and fell off after a few months. The other side followed shortly after. However we Love the surface. So we are going to try again. The surface on the first one lasted 6 moGreat .Then gradually downhill after that. We had it 2 years and its in the dump.

Easy to clean and it gets really hot!

My first griddle came with one of the supporting legs cracked and the company sent another griddle. I should have asked for a refund, because in early January the same leg cracked again. I was told that I'm past the point of return and they offered to sell me a warranty. No thank you! This is defective and new parts will only break in a few more months. Save yourself the money and look for something else. This is a piece of junk! Warning: I was told I was outside the 30 day return policy. This should tell you the quality of the product.

I absolutely love this grill and it is PERFECT for tabletop Hibachi Cooking. Up until a couple of weeks ago, my grill was working just fine. While shooting a cooking video, my grill decided to STOP working. I have reached out to this company TWICE and as of this day 5-12-2022, no one has contacted me. I purchased this grill in 2020 and it still looks just like it did in the photos above. I have an old electric grill that is over 10 years old and it STILL works AND, that is what I am using now since this grill decided to STOP WORKING. I wish someone would contact me and tell me why THIS GRILL STOPPED WORKING.

This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first one lasted a couple months before the plug started to melt (similar another review with pictures only worse). Now the new one smells like burning plastic as soon as I started using it and upon inspecting the plugin you can see it is already suffering from heat damage. This product is terrible and should be recalled. Griddle has since completely stopped functioning. Garbage. Avoid.

The unit worked great until there was an intense burning smell and smoke coming from the controls. After that the unit would not do anything other than smoke.I was hopeful this unit would last a long time but it only lasted weeks.

We decided to replace our old (but still working) griddle with this one. Big mistake! This thing is terrible. The heat distribution is very uneven, being much hotter near the power cord, so you have to rotate food around to get it to cook evenly. On top of that, the surface itself is not flat, being higher in the middle and falling off to both ends, but not from back to front, where the liquid drain actually is. This also makes it hard to cook English pancakes, which have a runnier batter than North American ones. Our old griddle had neither of these issues. Very disappointed.

I bought this item because of the specific coating and starfrit usually has good products however within within 30 seconds of turning this griddle on it started to smoke around the power connector and had a pungent burning plastic smell. So disappointed. They need to take a serious look at the product before selling anymore of them.

I just purchased my third ... the grill works great but the plug and temp control keeps going out .. the last one I just bought here a few months back. No where I can find sell replacement plugs
