Great pants for work
I am 5’3 & 154 lbs and I ordered this in a size 8. I was scared the pant leg would be too long but it fit me just right and hugs my curves. It doesn’t have a belt loop but that didn’t bother me too much. I would definitely purchase again!

Perfect work pants for everyday wear
These pants are great for the price. I wear them to work almost every day. They’re incredibly comfortable and flattering. I have washed and dried them and they shrank a tiny bit but I ordered a size up in case this happened. I’m between an 8 and a 10 so I got the ten and am very happy with them. I’m definitely buying more.Update: I've had these pants for over a year and they are still holding up. I wear them 2-3 times a week and wash them every weekend and they haven't faded at all. There is one seam that is starting to come apart a little bit, but that's the only issue I've had with them. My weight has fluctuated a bit over the past year and these pants are stretchy enough that I've been able to wear them consistently despite my pants size changing slightly. Again, I can't recommend these pants enough.

Fits perfectly!
I never order form-fitting clothing for an important occasion online. But I was in a bind and needed a pair of black dress slacks in a hurry. I searched the Amazon website and finally settled on this pair of slacks. The reviews varied tremendously regarding how they fit, but my pair fit as if I'd been measured for them. I used my measurements in the size chart to determine what I needed - a size 8. I'm short-waisted with a smaller waist in proportion to the rest of me - and these slacks laid perfectly at the lower side of my waist. My hips tend to be wider and these slacks hugged me in all the right places (but with no camel-toe effect). The length was perfect for my 5'6" height - perfect for either heels or flats. The legs of the slacks are tapered at the bottom and really don't have any flare at all , which will make them perfect for when I wear knee-high boots too. I have not yet washed the slacks - that may be another story but for now, I am totally impressed and happy with my purchase! I wish other reviewers would give their height, weight and body shape when they review a product - it would sure have made it easier for me to choose the right size.

Take a chance in Briggs fit & feel.....
Unbelievable! In a good and a bad way....I really can’t figure Briggs out— I have 4 pair of the split waist New York model slacks and I swear to you, every pair I order FIT COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! And there is a noticeable material difference too. Sometimes a slim fit, sometimes a baggie fit, material sometimes thick and crunchy, sometimes silky & smooth.....For some reason there is no consistency with this brand. Now, On the other hand, (after sending back and re-ordering every pair) when they are right, they are great- wear well and last after repeated washes and drying. But I can’t be the only one this inconsistent fit happens to. I’ve even tried them on at Boscov’s and the same style on the hangers all fit & feel different. Thank god for Amazon free returns to make it right! Good Luck Ladies.

They have stretch...go down a size
I am 5'7 184lbs. Length is perfect. Depending on how you like your pants you may want to go a size down. I ordered a 12. They fit okay. However I like tight, so a 10 would best suit my liking. Plus, the 12 is too big around my waist. They do have stretch to them. So if you want a loose fit go with your size. If you want them a little tight so a size down.

Comfortable and stylish
These pants are awesome. I received them on Saturday. I washed them. The tag says to line dry. But, I put them in the dryer. I would suggest hanging the pants on a pants hanger instead of folding them. They get creases where the fold lines are. Anyway, I am wearing them now at work and these pants are soooo comfortable. They are more comfortable than jeans and just as comfortable as pajama pants. But, they look very nice. I plan to buy a pair in black on my next pay check.

For curvy girls - these only need minor adjustment for great fit
Due to my shape, I struggle a great deal to find pants that fit. Usually my only options are granny styles or looks that are too risque for work.I checked the size chart and ordered a 12 to fit my hips, knowing it would be big in the waist. Of course, the stats help when reading reviews, so: 29.5" waist and 45" hips, 5'5" tall and 160 lbs.You can see in the first photo how loose the waist was. A quick adjustment with my sewing machine fixed the fit, and overall I'm pleased with how these pants look. Eventually I may have a go at letting down the hem to get a little more length out of them. For us ladies with significant curves, these pants require very minimal tailoring to achieve a lovely fit. At this price point, I'm thrilled to get such a professional look. One star off because they're extremely plastic feeling inside (though not outside).Overall, I'd highly recommend for curvy girls with basic sewing skills.

Professional Looking Trousers
I've been wearing Briggs slacks for years but never this style. These were horribly wrinkled in the package and became a mess after lying in the hamper.I found them to be a bit long on my 5'8" frame but I trusted that they would shrink in the dryer. After washing them in cold and drying on low, they came out of the dryer with barely a wrinkle. They now fit perfectly. They shrank about an inch and a half but I can wear low heels and flats with them. The pockets are stitched shut for shipping so I opened only one on the front. They lay nicely flat on the hips and bum.If these don't stretch out of shape while wearing, I will get another pair. They look professional and dressy yet so comfortable and far more expensive in stores. I always paid twice as much in department stores.Update: Now that I've worn these I've found that they stretch a lot in the legs. They don't bag but they stretch out some. I'm likely going to size down.

Great pants for work. Very comfortable
I am very happy with this product. The pants are comfortable and great for work. I would recommend buying you normal size because these are made to size. I wasn't sure, so I got a bigger size and they are big but still warible. This was the first time I bought these. I did go back and bought more in a smaller size.

Super comfy pants
Super comfy pants, great quality and super suprised that I got this quality of pants for only 25$! I'm usually a size 9, so i ordered the size 10 (I was scared the size 8 would be too small) and the thighs fit well, the only issue I had was with the waistline, which was too big. The big bummer is that there was no loops around the waistline to put on a belt, which would be super useful.

Not for the tall girl who wants stuff in their pockets
The material is nice however, the design is ridiculous. I'm about 5'7 and the median doesn't stay on but theres no belt holes, and when i sit down the bottom of it is halfway up my shin so like if you're a very short girl with some weight it would fit well but otherwise the fit is really weird and the pockets are unreasonable small.

No belt loops
I liked the design of the pants. I'm 5'5 and 180lbs with bigger hips and thighs. I ordered a 16 but could have gone smaller. Belt loops would have been a great addition to these pants.

Good fit
Good fit for size 14 USA/CAN. Stretchy material. Good, hidden elastic upper-hip-sitting waistband. Good hem should you need to get more length. Pockets were shut with 1 inch/2.5 cm basted stitches but easy enough to remove , if you want. I am looking to buy another colour, if available.
