‘Mini’ by name only. Performance is blazingly fast.
This device is great as a home-lab server, highly capable of powering numerous containers and VMs in Proxmox. As a barebones unit I was able to spec it out with the RAM and storage I required. Once up and running it is blazingly fast, and immensely versatile for my home-lab environment.

Excellent Product, Cautious with seller
No Question about the Product, it is perfect. Be cautious of the "seller", the "Sold By" should be "MINISFORUM Store", any other seller unless explicitly verified (by you) from Minisforum might give hard time with post sales queries. Also, I believe the Discount on Amazon will match to what is available on official websites.

Amazing powerhouse workstation MINI PC
This is a great amazingly, powerful beast of a computer in a mini package has great reviews and works much better than expected. Yes, the thermals are a bit warm but nothing unmanageable can be upgraded to be the perfect home lab really happy with it.

Edit: After communicating with Minisforum, they addressed my problems very quickly. Very good warranty service. Will try Minisforum again next time. Original comment: I buy MS-01 because I wish to use P5800x SSD on pcie slot. However. After 6 months of usage. I decide to sell it… it has too many small problems. This machine is still at its early stage of development. The PC shutdown never works, always try to restart. The thunderbolt - monitor connection is not stable. Not smooth enough sometimes….very noisy when some small job kick in. CPU is at 20% and it is roaring…
