I cannot speak on behalf of the comfort my dog but it sure seems like she enjoys it a lot! I have used this multiple times for hiking and my dog seem to enjoy it! I carry my dog when we are hiking in the wood or if there's too many bugs. This helps prevent any bugs/ticks sticking on my dog. This also helps me take her fishing! She's able to chill in the carrier while I fish! I wished this came with some shades I could pull over when it's too sunny. Great investment if you are an outdoor person.

So now my wife has become known around the neighborhood as the crazy cat lady who walks her cat in this backpack. If you don't care about that kind of thing, this is great! My cat loves it! He will jump into it if you leave it on the floor, waiting for you to put it on and take him outside. The cat gets some "outside time" in, without the dangers of running free. We walk the dog on a leash and the cat in the back around the block. The extra weight makes for better exercise. Anyway, it's sturdy and comfortable. Yes, some people will stare. But some will stop their car and ask where they can get one too!

This is sturdy and works as advertised, but be careful it doesn't tip over with your dog inside. I tried numerous other dog packs and this one is most comfortable to wear. If you don't want your dog to slide around or be cold, you can put stabilizing and warming layers inside. Best for a dog five to eight pounds, I would think.

I have an older, 12lb, min-pin mix with a teacup chihuahua who has a hard time keeping up with me on walks now a days. Plenty of room for him to move around, he loves to just lay down in it and take a nap. Will be adding a more sturdy base so it can hold its shape rather than how it’s folding in the pictures. Item was as described, very nice colors and helpful reflectors around it, quick shipping and easy fold away. Would buy again if I need another for my other pups.

We love this! We got it for our parrot and she loves it. We put up some perches and stuck a grate in the bottom. It is fairly easy to clean and easy to wear. It's a good size as well. We actually went on a weeklong roadtrip with it as the primary birdcage. It is mostly windows, as well, which is better than a lot of the other backpacks out there.

I was very excited that I received it, it looks like it was used just by looking at the floor.. but other than that it is excellent.. right away my kitties started to play inside of it, I'm excited to take them out for a walk.. they look very comfortable too!! Best part that I recieved this earlier than expected.

I loved the reflector lining on it for our afternoon and night time hikes. First the material was torn, but that’s okay nothing is perfect. I still tried to put my senior 15lb chihuahua in it To see if I needed a bigger one or just replace this one and he did not fit anyways. I think if he was 10 lbs or less it would be a perfect carrier. It had a couple pockets on it which was convenient and the sides opened so the pet can walk in and out easily.

Unless you use it to carry a tiny kitten. This backpack wont support and hold its shape with anything heavier than a small kitten. I put my 8.lb cat in to see how well it would hold up. The bottom base sags downward, the top caves in to his face and the side collapses to his body. It was uncomfortable for me to carry him around and for him to be in it.
