Competing products I've sourced from Amazon do the mag-safe thing fine, but stop my Yoga 9i from charging: they don't enable the USB-C cable to deliver required power. When that happens charging isn't just slow: it stops altogether. Also the inset plug you insert into the laptop USB port is easy to remove. Some, once installed, become quite challenging to remove. This mag-safe connector offers 360-degree range of motion; my other ones do not.
