Can you hear me honest review
Good quality material. Thick and playable. The look and size are perfect for creating a sound proof wall with minimal issues.

Good for wrapping or stuffing enclosure, bit small and expensive tho
A bit expensive for what it is. It's on the thin side, which is good if you're packing this into an enclosed space, but the heavy rubberized back side does a decent job reducing low frequency sounds, much more than just the lightweight foam does. Quality is middling, and the layers are prone to separating but it's fine if you install it once then don't touch it. Size was as advertised but again a bit small for the price of over 20 bucks. I didn't try to cut it but it should be easy to cut with a box cutter. I mounted the whole thing to the side of a noisy furnace to cut down on sound bleed into the next room. It's not really meant for hanging on walls as there is no included adhesive, but I guess you could staple or nail it to the wall.

Weak adhesive — doesn’t stay in place
The stickers provided on this product are very weak. The foam itself might help reduce noise, but it constantly falls off any surface because the adhesive doesn’t hold. I had to look for an alternative way to mount it. The sound insulation may work, but the installation method is very poor.

Excellent Soundproofing Material!
This foam works incredibly well for reducing noise and vibration. I used it to line a door and part of a wall, and the difference was immediately noticeable—outside noise is greatly reduced, and the room feels quieter and more controlled. The egg crate design and rubber backing add both durability and great sound-dampening performance. It’s easy to cut and install, and it stays in place securely. The quality is excellent, and there’s no strong odor like some cheaper foam options. Highly recommend for anyone needing affordable, effective soundproofing!

thin
This is a nice soundproof option. It is well-made and easy to cut to size. It is not something I would use alone, but it is a good second layer or if you have something oddly shaped. It reminds me a lot of quilt batting. It is very thin and soft, I would use this more for setting something on that only needs a little cushion.

Surprisingly Effective for What It Is
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this since it’s a single panel, but I was actually impressed with the difference it made. I used it to line a utility closet where a small pump was creating an annoying hum that carried through the house. Just one of these panels, cut to size and mounted with construction adhesive (rubber side out), noticeably reduced the echo and vibration noise. It’s not a miracle solution — it won’t give you total silence or replace proper soundproofing — but it works well in the right scenarios. Think HVAC hums, pump cabinets, or small machine noise. The foam side helps with acoustic absorption, while the rubber side seems to help block and deaden vibration. It's lightweight but has some density to it, which is nice. The only thing I’ll flag is that there’s no adhesive backing, so you’ll need to get creative with install depending on your project. Tape, adhesive, zip ties — all would work, depending on the surface. Also, it's flexible, so wrapping oddly shaped items is no problem. For sound studios, I’d use this as a complement to other foam or bass traps, not a replacement.Overall: it's well-made, has multiple uses, and definitely reduces noise.

Confusing and not as good as standalone squares
I think the use case for this is if you have a loud machine or something you can put this underneath. It's not really meant for putting on the ceiling or walls, and there's no way to really fasten this anywhere. The back isn't adhesive, so you'd have to use ties or something to affixed it to something. It's not as effective as those standalone black foam tiles, so if that's what your looking for, this won't do it.
