Wish I had bought this years ago!
I bought this assortment of 2-56 machine screws and nuts after going to the only nearby hardware store that stocks #2 hardware and buying a few screws -- at $0.25 EACH! Not only do these stainless steel screws seem to be exactly the same, they are in exactly the same compartmented box that the hardware store had. Obviously a huge cost and convenience improvement! I do wish that the assortment included some #2 washers, though. I ordered some separately.

Not Great Packaging
The screws and nuts themselves seem to be OK, though I haven't used them yet. The package however had split. The plastic wrap on the outside kept everything inside, but it will take a bit to resort everything. Be aware of that potential issue.
