I tried plunging. I tried the vinegar and baking soda trick. I tried Pepsi. Nothing worked. I saw really great reviews for this so I decided to give it a try. It did not work the first time so I did it and only left it in for about an hour so I tried it a second time and left it overnight and when I poured hot water in it the next morning it went right down. I'm definitely buying some to keep on hand!

I started using this product probably a year or longer ago because I was trying to remedy the slow drain in my shower. It worked great after only one treatment. I subsequently used it on our commodes, garbage disposal, utility room sink, etc. it works quickly and especially well when left overnight.I now use it routinely and I recommend it as a product that’s excellent for keeping drains open and flowing like new. Don’t wait for a buildup and clog I used it routinely… at least semiannually on all my drains.

I like these convenient one use packets. Its so simple, not measuring or messy liquids to use. It may not work 100% of the time but I have noticed that it does help. For the best results use a spiky hair removal tool in addition and you will get a clear drain.Word of caution this has a strong chemical smell so open windows and keep well ventilated.

I will say that I can understand the under 5 star reviews. If you use this when you have a clog your mileage will vary it appears. Now I happen to use this when I had a clog and it happen to clear it. I think if you have a current active clog you're better off getting a plumber to clear said clog first. It comes with three packets.. so when I finished the First and it worked I had 2 spare packets.. I used them preventively. Every 2-3 months I used one and haven't had a problem with my drains. I hope the packaging is correct and these are not harmful to your pipes. I re-purchased and will be using one every 6 months instead of 3. So should last me few years. I think to clear an active clog it's a coin flip, but man does it keep the drains clean. This review probably wont help you if you have an active clog. Sorry mate.

After a bunch of research, I ordered and used this for a slow draining shower drain. It immediately reeked like rotten eggs and I had to let the product stand overnight, but the I was able to run the shower full blast the next day and the clog was gone. It only took one packet to clear it up. I asked my girlfriend to bring over a scented candle to help with the smell. I know it's not the product's fault, it's _my_ clogged organic matter in the drain pipe, but P-U did my bathroom stink!

One star due to it NOT working at all. First I tried one pack & followed the instructions, nothing happened.I figured it could have been a tough stubborn clog so I used a second pack right after, still nothing…Water & clog is still backed up & this is “guaranteed” to work, yet there is NO way to contact this fraudulent company..The phone number listed on the product is out of service, unless I hear from this company & get a refund, this one star stands. Do NOT buy any of their products..

It works for simple clogs, I guess? I bought 2 (6packets), but didn’t work for me. Ended up having to call a plumber to fix it.

I am a lifetime fan of Green Gobbler products! Anytime I have a clogged drain, I use them and my drain clears as if a plumber himself cleaned them out. I also use them time to time when there is no clog, just to clear out any gunk that may be building. I have 2 daughters and myself, so there is always hair getting trapped in our shower drains, and I never had good results with other products on the market to clear drains the way Green Gobbler does. Additionally, there are no harsh chemicals, they're all ecofreindly!! Win/Win!

This is brilliant, does exactly what it says, I know good products cost money, I would of liked there to be four sachets rather than just three. But I will purchase again because it really is good!
