How good is to included lens ? Is it good for street photography and portraits ?

You're better off purchasing the camera in the Body Only configuration and buying a prime lens separately (ie: 16mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm f1.8). Any of those will be better options than the kit lenses. They let in more light and you'll end up with sharper photos. The 50mm is only $169. And the others you'll only end up spending just a little more than the Kit configuration and you'll have a much, much better lens. You learn to zoom with your feet. You'll get a much better photo than you would using a variable aperature zoom lens.

What accessories does the r8 (body only) come with?

Can you turn off the evf? And use it like an older slr?

If you want to use only the Back LCD you can, but if you’re asking for an OVF there answer is no, it doesn’t have a mirror to reflect to the viewfinder
