Perfect adapter. Saves money on replacing the refill units that I already have.
This adapter works exactly as described. I highly recommend it.

It Works! Easy as 1-2-3!
Worked like a charm. Older piercing style a/c charging kits are not compatible with the newer self-sealing R134A cans. This adapter allows you to use the piercing style kit with the self sealing can! Before you start: Read the instructions on the can of R134A refrigerant. Read the instructions on the adapter. Make sure the valve is in the up position. 1. Screw the (wide side) of the adapter onto the top of the self-sealing can. The adapter should go on easily be careful not to cross-thread 2. Screw the valve kit onto the adapter fully (securely but not too tight). 3. Follow the directions on your can of refrigerant, valve kit, and adapter to charge your car's a/c.

Great adapter.
Easy to use. Just screw it on. Had no issues with the 123a can or the puncture type dispenser hose.

Tricky to use
The Freon started leaking before I had the old tap valve completely screwed on. I had to grind down the tip of the tap valve, after that it worked okay.

Inexpensive and perfect for the job
First, kudos to Amazon for delivering the product in less than 24 hours and that too on a Sunday. This product enabled me to use my old hoses (I have accumulated three of those over the years) with the new car ac refill cans. Worked perfectly, the very first time. I never felt that there was any danger of cross threading or breakdown. I am puzzled by the negative reviews. Please do not overtighten and screw in carefully -- this product should last many years.

Screw it in not too tight, not too loose. Might let some air out of the can, gotta be fast.
One of the few tools that helped me fix my fridge, and keep it nice a cold for a while longer, but instructions were a little unclear, the moment I connected the hose to it, it would let out freon, even if the gage was completely closed, figured out I had to screw it in just right so it would spill it out. Everything went smoothly after I got a hang of it.

Not much to say other than, this product works. I ordered in some R134a self-sealing cans from the US and sure enough, trying to find an adapter in Canada was brutal. These have strong plastic (I bought the 6 pack in case I broke one - didn't need to) and when you tap the can everything else just works like it is supposed to. Refilled the AC on a couple of vehicles with NO problems at all. Highly recommend.
