Flavor:Forest & Flowers Honey Forest & Flowers honey is debated as the purest and richest honey in the world. It is harvested at Valia Calda in the pristine Pindus Mountains at altitudes of over 1,000 meters. The Pindus is one of the most mountainous and untouched areas in the world. It is known for its thick pine and oak forests which couldn’t be more perfect for honey collection. The biodiversity and richness of herbs makes this area the perfect breeding ground for honeybees. Forest & Flowers honey comes mostly from the oak tree but also mixes with a wide variety of flowers and herbs from the peaks of the region. Unlike most honey companies that use industrial filters to clear the pollen naturally found inside all honey, the Ouranos Family clears just the wax cups the bees use to seal the frames when the honey is matured inside the hive, and that’s all. Anything more removes the pollen from the honey. It’s an art, no more no less. Syrupy honies are a sign of poorly filtered, weak and heated honies. Ebion honey is thick and robust and as true to its natural form as possible. To learn more about the medicinal and antibacterial benefits of organic raw Greek honey, be sure to review the study in the Journal of Medicinal Food (J Med Food 16 (1) (2013) entitled “Antibacterial Activity of Greek and Cypriot Honeys Against Staphlyococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Comparison to Manuka Honey”. This offer is for a 250 gram (8.8 ounce) glass jar of Ebion Forest & Flowers honey. Complete satisfaction guaranteed. Also try Ebion’s Red Fir honey for a silkier honey born of flowers and wild berries. Or Ebion’s Oak Honey for a very thick dark caramel honey. The Ebion honies in season or still in stock will be seen as variation options on the top of this page.

Delicious and quality
This is a very nice honey. Not like any I have eaten before. This honey is thick and paste like it still has some viscosity while at room temperature, I live in New York so it’s quite cold out now. This is a raw honey so it can seem grainy with the texture since it’s has not been processed. That being said it’s a sign that you know your getting the benefits from the product. All the extra nutrients and minerals from the wild. You can tell that this company takes pride in their work and harvests the finest honey from the mountains of Greece. It is delicious it doesn’t taste like the brown bear honey here in America. It is rich in flavor but doesn’t not come across as overly sweet I enjoy the consistency being a little thicker makes me feel like I don’t need to eat as much.Overall if you are a honey person looking for a great product you would not be dissapointed in the oak tree honey from the mountains of Greece. I highly recommend this honey

Jar was missing at least 1/3. I paid for a jar, not 66%
Received jar intact with seal, however, the jar is at least 1/3 Empty. What's the deal with that?Need to improve your quality control.Otherwise the honey appears to be legit oak honey.Needless to say I will not be ordering again.👎Update: bumping up the rating, only because the actual quality of the contents, although short, is extremely high quality.

This was a gift
As this was a gift, I can only offer what I was told. Report was that the sensual differences were intriguing. The taste was also a bit different but very enjoyable.

Not much in bottle
The honey seemed okay but it came in a small bottle, which might be okay, but it was half full, soit makes you feel like it wasn't filled up enough.
