George Foreman 4-Burner Gas BBQ

Got this on offer and really pleased. Bit of a faff to build and patience is needed but once done it's very stable and feels much more expensive than it is. Used it numerous times throughout the summer and had no issues other than a small clip coming off the wheel which was easily fixed. The side tables hold enough things to be useful and had no issues with ignition. Worth pairing with the George Foreman griddle plate to minimise mess when cooking.

Looks great, works great, I read previous reviews and thought it might be a nightmare to assemble but instructions weee ok and if you are ok at DIY then this will go together relatively easily.

Have only used this once for cooking so far just to make sure it worked before storing away until next year and was very pleased with it. As others have said though assembly is not as straight forward as it could be, mainly I have to say because of confusing & contradictory instructions. The video on line & the printed instructions provided with the unit don't even agree! One good aspect is that the screws etc. are well packaged & identified & they do provide an extra one of most screws. Both the video & booklet say to fit the side shelves first, I recommend fitting them last as they just get in the way. You will need to slightly loosen the leg screws to fit the shelves behind them but much easier in the long run. Also re the shelves, ignore the key hole slots, they're irrelevant. What is not clear is that you fasten the shelves flush with the top of the burner box with screws through from inside the unit. There seems to be several holes & set nuts provided that do not serve any purpose at all in the basic assembly save to confuse things! Possibly for some optional accessories or left over from previous versions ??

Probably the best gas bbq I've ever had, went together pretty smoothly apart from one part nearly at the end. Easy to clean, huge cooking space which is very important and fairly easy to control heat distribution. What else can I say, it's robust, neat looking , and the bottle opener is a very nice touch which cost, what, a pound and a couple of screw holes? Brilliant. Only the rain has stopped me using it every day since it was delivered . Lightly oil the grills and warming shelf and nothing sticks much, of course get that heat up before slapping it on

Having had three George Foreman grills I expected good things from this BBQ. Out of the box there were obvious dents on three different panels,. one support was bent and the lid did not close! As I needed the BBQ, I decided to live with the dents and hope that, once assembled, the lid would sit properly....wrong!! The instructions are garbage and the YouTube video difficult to watch. Managed to get it all together but the lid was just the same. Very poor quality and hopeless manufacturing tolerances - very flimsy panels too. Overall, very cheap and nasty. DON'T BUY!!!! The only good thing was Amazon customer service who were first class and arranged a full refund so that I can buy a "proper" BBQ!! Once again, Amazon customer service were first class. Alan Rogers

Ive used the bbq once. It seems to work well. Some of the components like the knobs and heat guards seem a bit flimsy but it’s good for the price. However it needs to come with a serious warning. I was washing the grease tray and I nearly sliced my finger off. The edges of the metal tray are razor sharp - it’s lethal. We’ve had to use a metal file to sand all the edges and I’m going to try some high temperature tape to cover the edges before we attempt to wash it again.

The bbq itself is great, but as so many people have said previously the assembly instructions are poor at best! I assembled and de assembled mine 3 times but the finished product is worth it! My only criticism of the bbq itself is there is nowhere to put your bbq tools. This is the only downside to it! It would have been a small thing but I personally would like it more than a bottle opener! I now am scouring the internet hoping to find one, Well worth the money without a doubt
