Nice solid wood. Good idea with nice cards. Some are tight/loose.
I like these a lot. They're lovely solid bits of wood which are a nice chunky size good for hands of any size to play with. They're super easy to work out how to use without any thought and the cards with suggested builds on them to try and replicate are well made and produce nice models. They are for the most part well made, but the odd few (too many for the price) are either pretty tight or irritatingly loose. Not enough that it ruins the set, but more than I'd be happy to have paid this much for. I still think they're a really good toy though and worth getting on a sale.

Excellent quality wooden building set
Excellent quality wooden toy set. Easily a match from Brio trains set in terms of finish. My young niece loves playing with it and it comes with a draw string cloth bag for storage and a set of inspiration cards for then to build from.Wooden toys are so much better than plastic fantastic and something that can be passed down and cherished.

Alright
Good product. It's a little stiff and can be difficult to fit together.

Imposible to assemble, the pieces are all with different sizes
My son was really frustrated as some of the pieces were extremely loose or very hard to fit, to be honest i wouldn’t recommend it. He was so happy to build things but as the pieces are not cut properly and with different sizes the figures were not possible to fit. So it was basically a one time use toy. As you can see from the photo, my son was not happy.

good for creative play
This set of wooden building blocks has been a good addition to our collection of toys for creative play. The blocks themselves are well-made; the wood feels smooth and sturdy, without any rough edges, which is important for little hands. The various shapes and sizes encourage imaginative construction, and my child has enjoyed stacking them into towers and creating different structures. The inclusion of the parent-child interactive cards is a thoughtful touch. They offer prompts and ideas for building, which can be helpful for guiding play or sparking new creations when inspiration wanes. The storage bag is also very practical, making tidying up after playtime much easier and keeping all the blocks contained. While it's great for open-ended play, the blocks are fairly standard. However, their quality and the thoughtful additions make them a solid choice for developing early STEM skills and creative thinking.

Not buildable as the tolerance is too tight.
The concept of these building blocks is great, but the tolerance between the blocks and the connectors is just too tight and it ended up with our 7 year old in tears after stubbing his finger on a sharp edge trying too hard to push them together. Our nearly three year old could not put them together at all and also got very frustrated. We had taken them down to the local pub garden for the kids to play with whilst we had a Friday pint so the locals had to have a go too after the kids had discarded them, this was also pretty frustrating, even if a little funny, watching four burly machine workers and builders struggling to locate these blocks together. If they can't manage it with their Popeye arms then a small child has no hope.Great idea and well packaged but just not buildable as the tolerance is too tight.

Lovely toy, great quality and will spark creativity in the recipient.
We chose this construction set for our 6 year old nephew, who loves anything he can build. The fact that this is wooden makes it all the more appealing, as we feel it is a great idea to have traditional toys alongside his more modern entertainment. The set is extremely well presented in a lovely box, and a canvas bag to keep the pieces in. It really does look and feel like a premium product. The pieces themselves are a good size, although perhaps a little small for children under 4, for example. They are smooth, with no rough or sharp edges, which is excellent. They fit together simply, making it easy for children to work with. The box includes cards with some suggestions of what to build. These are quite straightforward to build, and don't take too much time. There aren't lots of designs to build, however the implied idea is that the child uses their imagination to create different designs. The pieces do fit together well, showing they have been cut to a high spec. Some of them are a little loose, causing them to fall out occasionally, but this is a minor complaint. The advertised price is currently £36.99, and a 20% voucher is available. This combination brings it to a good price that reflects the quality of the overall package. Some extra design suggestions would have been welcomed, however as with most of these toys, they are there to encourage the use of imagination. This is a lovely toy, great quality and will spark creativity in the recipient.

Great open-ended building play idea
This is a really nice set of building blocks with a twist. They come with a handy storage bag to keep them in when not in use and have cards included to prompt different play ideas. They’re easy enough to put together and fun for any age. Although I would say maybe age 5 upwards as it does require higher thinking.I like how open ended this could be - great Montessori style play. Although the blocks are all pretty similar so it would be good if there were some variation to the blocks to allow scope for different things.Overall they feel reasonable quality but I do think they’re a tad expensive for what you get.
