I absolutely love this tool. Have used it almost daily to measure internal measurements as well as external measurements on loads of things I make.Great for internal measuring of things like windows, cabinets, wardrobes and when measuring boxes etc .You’ll use it more than you think! It’s not cheap but it is great quality and has a very easy to read display area which seems to be magnified for precision.This tape has really helped me to improve the accuracy of things I’ve built from wood.

I have always struggled with measuring the diameters of windows. Not any more! This tape measure lets me read off the exact size of the distance between two parallel surfaces (like the walls each side of a window) quickly and accurately. Beautifully made - happy to recommend.

So handy! It’s a large size but makes it easy to use and is very sturdy.

I original funded these on Kickstarter and bought two more since on Amazon. The recoil spring is weak, the first cm is badly marked, and they don't like getting grit in them, but they are SO good otherwise.Really fast for taking inside measurements and locking it off to transfer to material.I mostly use mine as a reference stick. Set it to the desired length using the window and lock it off to use over and over. the back is nice straight edge and a 90 angle.The tape also stands upright nicely and doesn't fall over and roll about like other measures.

This is unique in what it does and class one accuracy is a major benefit. The down side is the bulk which is twice the size of a traditional tape and the tape "stand out" is not as good as a traditional Stanley tape. However, for measuring inside a gap it is in a league of its own. I now run with this and my trusted Stanley tape as both have their place. The company that makes the tape could really benefit from being taken over my one of the big companies who could develop it further and maybe improve tape rigidity and incorporate an autostop mechanism. The large clunky push to stop mechanism needs to be refined as well as its way to stiff to press.

I bought this as I needed an accurate way of measuring the inside of a double glazed window, to order some Perfect fit shutters. They are easy to use, as the base lined up with the window beading, and the tape extended to the opposite beading

Really useful, makes measuring so much easier

The measure is good and is easy to use and read; however, if you are working up ladders or from any height I would highly recommend you use a Stanley or Dewalt tape measure. I think if this fell on to a hard surface you would be faced with picking up bits of plastic, it's very hard plastic, there is some softer stuff at the edges to help protect it but I really can't see this standing up to the abuse one of the other on site measuring tapes get. I would like to see some testing done by the manufacturing showing how sturdy it really is; for me I'd be afraid to take it up step ladders let alone any higher. Considering the price it's not cheap you could probably buy 4 or more of the mainstream measuring tapes, I purchased the holster/belt clip at another extorted price. I really think this should come as part of the tape and not another expenditure! If you want to carry it you will need the holster, unlike the Stanley it won't just slip in your pocket. All in All not the best tool I've bought this year and I'll be surprised if it's still in my tool box by next year. If you are a blinds fitter and are only going to measuring inside windows to fit blinds as shown in the sales video, then yes this will be perfect, but for any where you need to be on a scaffold or up ladders avoid this tool.
