DC Power Supply Variable, LIUMY LM7005 Adjustable Switching Regulated Power Supply Digital, 0-30 V 0-5 A with 2 Pair Alligator Leads and US Power Cord/Small Size/Light Weight

My customers are beginning to experience the time when commercial grade LED lights installed a few years ago are beginning to have failures. I needed a tool to check whether the failure is in the driver or the chip, and since many of the large chips run above what an 18V to battery can provide, a DC power supply is invaluable.This is a solid, compact linear power supply with decent components like a real toroidal transformer and the assembly looks competently done. The cables provided are decent quality and better than cables I've gotten with other sub $100 supplies. Display readings are very close to what my multimeters show (I've checked with the AEMC shown as well as with three Agilents - I'm confident of those readings...). I did a few hours test with a 1750mA LED and it worked solidly without getting hot. Fan runs continuous, with or without load on mine. Contactors are a little loud but as we got this for field use for testing LED chips in commercial lights, that's not a problem. For what we need, this seems like a great power supply at a decent price ($62.99 + tax at time of purchase).

I've been looking for a DC power supply for a while. I used to use an old one out of PC, but wanted to put out more than just the preset voltages available. This fit the bill! For a power supply of it's size it has a lot of weight, which in power equipment translates to higher quality. I also like that you can adjust the voltage in .1vDC increments to exactly what you need.The actual unit is pretty simple, a power button at the bottom, course and fine voltage adjustment, and outputs. Its nice that the unit comes with a couple of leads, I had my own, but extra are always nice.Overall I'm happy with the quality of the unit and especially considering the price point.

Great little power supply. Needed a unit for my son for experimental electroplating. Works like a charm. Had a small issue with one of the electrical leads but was addressed very quickly and well to my satisfaction. So they stand behind their product with great customer service which is very nice to know.

For a while I have been looking for a good power supply. I have been using wall power supplies that are spliced to alligator clips, but now I don't have to do it like that anymore. The device I received has a voltage range of 1.8v to 30.8v and I did notice that there is a little difference between my voltmeter and the display on the power supply. It was very minimal as you can see in the pictures.The device is very simple to use. Plug it in to the wall (AC 110), plug in the alligator clips and set your voltage and amps. You have both a corse and fine feature to tune the voltages and amps. I would have to agree other reviewers that the fan is slightly louder than what is to be expected. Maybe in future models the fan speed can be adjusted.Overall a good power supply for anyone's work bench. Quick and simple voltage.

When I got the product, I was impressed that this power supply is heavier than my broken one. For myself, I believe that heavy PSU uses better materials and good quality. I tested the voltage and current output with multi-meter. Both PSU and meter displayed the same results. I really like the way of display for voltage and current. Two separated big screens are clear and user-friendly. This PSU still performs well these days. Hopefully it can last long time.

Needed dc supply for powering my garage door motor. Also I needed it also sometime for my other devices I found that multiple power dc will be best option.Pros:- work stable- regulators switch voltage in detailed range- overload protectionCons:- fan is always on, which is not an issue for meI think this device is great option for the price. Helpfull to use it around house and in case if any your charger will die. Thanks

I got this dc power supply for an experiment at home in powering various components with input voltage from 3 V to 24V. This can go up to 31v at 0.1 v fine tuning step and 5amp. I am happy with using it for some experiments at home, powering LED, piezoelectric, etc...

I haven’t actually used it yet, so I’ll assume it works as well as others have stated, and you can’t beat the price.But, as others have noted, that is one EXCESSIVELY NOISY fan... Good grief! Oddly enough it doesn’t seem to move that much air. Might end up replacing the fan if I keep the unit. I would have been happy to spend an additional few dollars for a quiet or adjustable fan.
