Defied all negative reviews - they are wonderful
I don't write Amazon reviews typically, but I saw so many negative reviews here that I figured I'd chime in.I was hesitant to buy these headphones because of all the complaints here, but for $60, why not at least try? Before really starting the review I'd just like to assert that I have had *none* of the issues described in other reviews - these buds sync easily, are registered by my phone as soon as I take them out of the case, and stay paired to each other with no breaks in the sound.I have used them daily for a month: at work, drumming, and on my 15+ mile bike rides. They stay in my ears and provide really good sound isolation. I had to use the biggest earbud caps to get the "passive noise cancelling" that I wanted despite having small ears. I'm sure you could also buy aftermarket buds if the provided ones didn't work. Anyway, they sound great when the buds fit right.I have not had the battery die while the headphones were on yet, so battery life is great for my use cases. The charging case is small and handy, but there are a few minor complaints here. The case is glossy and picks up fingerprints easily. The magnet that holds the earbuds in the case is strong, so it can sometimes be hard to pull the earbuds out of the case because they are also glossy and offer little grip. However, after the first week I found they come out the easiest if you twist them as you pull up.Aesthetically, they are amazing for $60. They're nice and small and look great, which is something I was concerned about since I have small ears - anything bigger would look silly.I love that the buds turn off when I put them in the charging case. And my only major complaint about the buds is that they will *not* turn off when in the case if the case is out of charge. This has lead to me answering calls on my phone and not being able to hear the caller because my headphones were accidentally still connect despite being in the case in my pocket. My suggestion is to check the four little lights on the bottom of the charging case when you put the buds in. If all four lights are blinking on and off, the case is out of charge and you'll have to turn the buds of manually.Overall, a wonderful pair of earbuds that look and sound fantastic. And for $60, they're an ncredible value.

Amazing tech and GREAT customer Service
I have had rowkin headphones for a while. The first pair I got was about a year ago and liked them quite a bit. They were small, discrete and the sound was decent. Pairing them was easy and the charging case was great in so that it could be used to charge other electronic devices such as your phone. Unfortunately I lost that initial pair and decided to get another pair. I figured that I was already used to the brand and was happy with it. The logic was that a newer pair of the same headphones could only be better than the one I had lost, right? Wrong.I mean, how do you screw up a good product on your second iteration is beyond me. The first thing that was great from before but it sucks now is the on and off switch. The older model had a very simple approach: a button! You would press the button and the earbud would turn on, then you would press it again and the earbud would turn off. Well, the geniuses at rowkin decided that this was too simplistic and that they needed to improve it and by improve it I mean to screw it up royally. Now, instead of the very intuitive click button, the earbuds have this touch sensor which is really hard to use because it is just not very well designed. So for example, to pause a song you now have to double tap the right earbud. But because the design is so poor, if you don't double tap exactly right then the song does not stop. These earbuds are very small already so you have to be careful when you are holding them. So now when you double tap them you have to hold them between your thumb and your middle finger and double tap them, at the exact tempo mind you, with your index. Otherwise the song will not stop. Oh and they come with a function now that whenever you remove the headphones from the charging case they turn on automatically. One can say, ok I'll just turn it off myself but then again, no clicking button to do so but to have to do it with the annoying touch sensor.Second: pairing the new headphone is a real bitch now. With the old model you could reset them and press the click button while wearing them and then you would hear the voice saying left channel, right channel. This was simple and intuitive. After turning both earbuds on and hearing the left and right voice you would hear the voice say "second device connected" which meant the headphones were now paired with one another. Again the geniuses at rowkin decided they were going to improve this by implementing one solution more cumbersome and annoying to the point that it almost makes you want to throw the damn headphones against the wall every time you try to pair them. So the new model comes with, I kid you not, instructions on how to pair the headphones because there is not a voice telling you all of this now but a code of lights flashing either red or white in a specific manner. It took a while to learn how to pair the damn earbuds and even now it pisses me off every time I have to do it.In contrast, do you know how many times I read the instructions on how to pair the old model? Once. Do you know why? Because there was literally a voice telling you which one was your left/ right headphone and whether or not they were connected or disconnected.Third issue I have with the new and "improved" version would be the sound quality. The new headphones definitely do not sound as good as the old ones. I know this because of the old ones I lost I was able to find one which I still use in single mode.So I have three earbuds now. One old one and the pair of new ones. I charge the old one in the new case and whenever the old one is out of battery, I place it in the charging case and grab one of the new ones (I'm at work and can only wear one in order to maintain situational awareness). So when I switch the old one for the new one I can definitely hear the difference. The sound of the new one is dimmer than that of the old one. I don't even wait for the new earbud to run out of battery. As soon as I see that the old one is charged I slip it back in.As for the rest of the upgrades, the charging case is identical to the old ones and the rowkin app is pretty much useless. So, in conclusion. I am very disappointed with these headphones. Mostly because I liked the first model and was expecting to get an improved version of that same product. Instead, I received a poorly designed product with inferior quality compared to the original and with less of the features that made me like the original product so much.I am already shopping for new wireless earbuds and they are definitely not going to be rowkins...
