Our cats really like this - once they accepted that it wasn't the same as their old torn up carpet style cat trees, they are loving it. I really like that I can rearrange the configuration - I think I've got it to their liking now. The heavier two were a little leary of being on the very top but I bought some half inch dowels and ran them through the upright posts and now it is more stable and they are more secure - great for playing, sleeping and looking out the windows!

My weird cats prefer softer fabric. They liked other models better but those didn't hold up. Maybe they will like after awhile.... but it's cute and good quality so just my strange cats.

I was really excited to purchase this product for my cat. I purchased it for under $60 as an alternative to the $80-140 cat towers. I wish I would have saved my money and just purchased the alternative cat towers. I believe a $100 cat tower will give you more use and last longer than this item. First, my cat will barely use it or play on it, a lot of b/c it has simple cheap plastic tubing holding it together and unstable. I even purchased dowel rods to put in the plastic to make them more sturdier, but that did not work. My cat has 2 towers she sleeps in all day and some higher end scratchers but she will not use this or play with it b/c it is inferior to the sturdier towers. I am donating to a local shelter and hopefully someone gets use of it. I think its better for kittens than adult cats.

I've been getting cat furniture from Kitty City for over a decade now. I love their sets because my cat always uses the heck out of them, both for lounging and scratching. You get really fast at putting them together and taking them apart once you've done it a few times. They also collect tons of cat hair, can be easily vacuumed, and are cheap to replace when they start getting ragged. I also like that you can disassemble them and easily toss them in the trash, where a lot of cat furniture is bulky and hard to get rid of.This set is put together the same way, but everything is made mostly of plastic canvas instead of soft cloth like most other Kitty City sets. Unfortunately, my cat won't even sit on it, never mind scratch it. I don't blame her, the canvas doesn't seem very comfortable at all, and a lot of pieces are unnecessarily covered in big strips of velcro (it's there so you can expand the set if you want, but if you just build the set as given you end up with a pair of uncomfortable strips of velcro on the two lower sleeping platforms -- you can see them if you look at the picture). I threw it away and ordered a standard one. I typically get one of these ( Kitty City Steel Claw Mega Kit Cat Furniture ) every 6 months or so. It's not the prettiest looking thing but my cat loves them and I like that they're cheap to replace.

We bought this to replace a very old one that was falling apart (different brand). This one is great. Love the tropical theme. Our cat enjoys lounging on the top and sleeping in the bed underneath.

My cats like to sleep on the top of this tree. I moved the soft bed up a notch and I folded a fleece blanket and put it on the top because my cats don't like the slick, canvas, tent-like material. It doesn't seem comfortable by itself and they are freaked out by the sounds it makes on their claws. But ever since I put the blanket on it, they love it!

It’s flimsy and my cats can easily knock it over by using the scratching post or jumping on it. We added pillows on each of the top two levels because that’s the only way my cats would use it but they love it! It’s their favorite place when I’m working.

Had to return the product. There were pieces missing and it was too flimsy for my 9 pound cat.
