Used this set to make Wiggle Robots. They were pretty simple to solder together and worked great. The kids loved them. It would have been ideal for my project that there were as many wheels as motors, but I bought an extra set of wheels and we are using them for various other things

This is a great project starter kit. Though there are a few problems most of the pieces are fine and of reasonable quality.I think most of my complaints come from quality control.My major complaint is the shaft diameter of both the motors AND the multiple lengths shafts. The inner diameter of the gears are all over the place. I know some gears are meant to be loose, but on the opposite spectrum some of the gear mounting holes are so small that they will will not fit any shafts. Some are so large and wobbly that it's difficult to see their use without solder or epoxy and something more (diameters measured at close to three or four mm!).My other complaint is that you can't tell in the product photos that some of the battery packs/holders are lever arm or switch type. You pull or push a lever to connect the second battery.This is a really nice feature! ... But I just wanted regular because it's just an endless battle with my students who struggle to understand why theirs is different.Four to five stars for overall value and quality, buy it's a hard decision because of the gear problems. I'd buy more if they could fix the mounting concerns.

Crazy like 10 cents per item, 2 dollars for each motor-motor bracket=battery holder-rocker switch & then throw in a couple hundred gears and other items. Only wish they included some propeller blades

Lol, there are so many parts in this set it's a lot of fun. :-)

Overall this kit is a good kit to teach basic circuitry. I appreciate the different battery sizes and multitude of options in components. However, please be aware that the motor terminals are very fragile and overheat easily. The included gear kit is pretty much useless too, they are not very durable or reliable.

Kit came neatly packaged with all pieces included and separated. There were instructions included to help build projects correctly. Very satisfied and would definitely purchase again for our next project.
