Keeps shoes snugly fit. The lock is somewhat difficult to open. If you have arthritis in your hands you will need someone to open and thread the laces through the lock. If you have any difficulty bending over then I highly recommend using a long handled shoe horn to put your shoes on. It helps to pull the tongue of the shoe up and forward so that your foot doesn't push the tongue down into the shoe.

very durable. I have the regular lock laces as well and comparatively speaking these are more durable, they seem to have much larger springs to compress which is a plus.

These are a timesaver. I've been using them in 2 pairs of shoes- one of them in work boots. They seem pretty durable. Just don't tug too hard on the clasp you've installed at the ends of the laces. I had to re-clasp mine.

Love these, simple to use, especially after watching the video. I bought them for 2 reasons; 1) much quicker and simpler than tying shoe strings and the two tone laces (mine were Red/Black) matched the coloration of my shoes making for a nicer appearance. I'll definitely buy again.

Put them to the test with two back to back Spartan races and worked out great. Easy on and off and cinches up quickly. For the price a must have.

The lock for the cords was so tight I could barely get the laces inserted and there is no way I could push it open to slide the laces to fit. The diameter of the cords were thinner than I expected for the shoes I was adapting.
