Excellent performance and very easy to use
The Enso SodaStream works exactly as it should. Setup was quick, and the machine is very straightforward to operate. The carbonation process is smooth and consistent, and it is easy to control how fizzy you want your water. What I appreciate most is the reliability. Every bottle comes out evenly carbonated, and the quick connect system makes swapping cylinders simple and mess free. The bottle locks in securely, and the whole process takes just seconds. Since getting this, we have dramatically reduced our purchases of canned sparkling water. It is convenient, efficient, and performs exactly as advertised. If you want a sparkling water maker that is dependable and easy to use, this one delivers. Highly recommend.

Enso Sparkling Water Maker
nothing to say here - except I love it. Best decision for a long time... Those couple bucks more for the enso is worth it. At least for me

Super simple to setup and use
Prior to ordering this SodaStream Enso machine, I had never used a SodaStream. I expected it to be much more complicated than it was to set it up and operate it. The machine requires no power source, which was surprising to me. All I had to do was remove the plastic wrap from the CO2 bottle and insert it into the machine. Then I put the drip tray in place and washed the bottles and it was ready for use. I started with a 0.5 liter bottle so I wouldn't waste so much if I messed it up the first time. I pressed the button three times to carbonate the water. Then, I added some of the lime bubly drops to flavor it. To be completely honest, I'm not usually a fan of flavored seltzers. I thought it was ok, but I probably won't use the machine much for making seltzers. Instead, I purchased the Pepsi products to make our own sodas at home. We don't drink sodas on a daily basis so opening a 2-liter bottle seems like such a waste. We usually use them as mixers for cocktails, which doesn't require a large amount. I love that we can make a smaller amount with the SodaStream machine instead of opening a 2-liter bottle every time. My usual drink of choice is a daily electrolyte drink mix. I saw a video where a couple mixes them into a liter bottle of seltzer water from their SodaStream. I decided to give it a try. My first time was quite the learning experience. Of course, you should never carbonate anything in the SodaStream but water so you have to add the powder afterwards. Be fast about it because it bubbles up on you. You need to pour it in and quickly cap the bottle. Gently mix it by turning the bottle side to side. I found that the powder didn't dissolve all the way even with lots of mixing. This part is important: let it sit for a couple minutes before opening it or you will have a mess on your hands when it overflows. The jury is still out on whether carbonated electrolyte mixes will be a regular beverage for me. A lemon electrolyte drink mix packet added to the seltzer water tastes similar to a lemon-lime soda. I am excited to try some of the SodaStream Crafted Cocktail Mixers next. The SodaStream Enso machine is a fun gadget to have on hand. It is so compact that we can even take it with us when we go camping in our RV. The machine has a great build quality. I got the black machine, which looks nice on my countertop and doesn't show fingerprints. I like that the liter bottles have the stainless caps and bases. They look high-end. However, if your beverage overflows like mine did, the base holds ontop quite a bit of the liquid. It spills all over you when you try to take a drink. Do yourself a favor and turn the capped bottle upside down over a sink before trying to drink from it. The bundle came with two CO2 bottles. I feel like they will last us a while since we aren't heavy users of the machine. I love how easy they are to install. I'm a little confused on how the refills work. I wish there were more details on exchanging them locally.

Love having this in my kitchen!
I've owned Sodastreams before in the past, but this Sodasteam Enso bundle takes it to the next level! The quality and durability of everything in the bundle feels top-notch. In the kit, I received the carbonator, two bottles, two full CO2 canisters, and a set of Bubly drop flavors. Some obervations: - The carbonator unit is really well built - a lot of it is metal, and using it is really easy. My old Sodastream required screwed the bottle in, but with this one, you just seat it and lock it down, much quicker to use. Inserting the CO2 canisters is also very straightforward. The unit takes up very little counter space! - The bottles feel very high quality. They're plastic, but the caps are plastic/metal and have a lot of heft tothem and feel high quality. The bases are made of metal and detachable for cleaning. I love having two of them as I always have one in the fridge filled with water, ready for carbonation. - Having two CO2 canisters is also really handy! I've been using 4 presses when I carbonate, and haven't kept track of how many times I've used it, but surprised that with occasional use over a period of months, I haven't even gone through one canister yet. - The Bubly drops are pretty good! I don't really like the cherry one, but the blackberry and lime ones are pretty good. There's a fill line on the bottles for water fill level, and another line to indicate how much of the Bubly drops to use. - I like trying different simple syrups, and having the ability to control how much you add and hence how sweet you make the soda is really nice. This SodaStream kit isn't really cheap, but it still represents a great value, and will save a lot of waste going to the landfill as well.

Not bad, but I like Drinkmate's fizz better.
This machine is solid - heavy weight, sturdy. It's very easy to install the gas cylinder; the latching mechanism is well-designed. This is a full kit to start making your own sparkling water - extra gas cylinder, good flavoring drops. I've used various Soda Streams off and on over the years, and this does its job quite well. The bottle hardware looks like its metal, but it's just a metal sheet over plastic - and it feels that way too. It honestly feels cheaper than the standard bottles that are just plastic all around. Doing a carbonation test in plain water between this unit and my current Drinkmate, I strongly preferred the strength and feel of the carbonation in the Drinkmate. That may be personal preference, though! This is definitely a solid unit that does the job.
