Vice Golf Pro Soft Golf Balls (One Dozen)

I purchased Vice golf balls and during normal play I almost cracked one in half earlier this Spring (see photo of single ball). I had hoped that this was an isolated incident since I played Vice golf balls for nearly 2 years without any issues. However, on my most recent trip to Scotland earlier this month I cracked 3 balls out of 9 during normal play (see attached photo of the 3 balls together).I am a 4.5 index, so its not like I'm hitting the balls thin or onto roads/cart paths or into trees to cause them to crack. In fact, I noticed all three of these balls were cracked after I hit drives that had an odd flight and flew significantly less distance than my typical drives. I use Ping irons and a TaylorMade M4 driver.I returned the damaged balls to Vice for further analysis to determine why they cracked. Pretty sure they simply opened the box looked at each one and then threw them in the trash. It was only a few minutes after letting me know they received the balls they made their very scientific determination that the balls “must have been part of a bad batch”.As if that were not bad enough, Vice’s way of compensating me for 5 dozen defective golf balls was to send me two sleeves of balls. That’s like getting food poisoning at a restaurant and they only give you a coupon to come back and eat the same meal again. Customer service also gets a big F!!!Vice is clearly nothing more than a hipster marketing company more concerned with selling gimmicks and merchandise than a true quality golf ball.So buyer beware!

I like the way the ball plays, but I use the yellow ones and they scuff (almost chip) way too easily. I can get in maybe two rounds with these balls before they start falling apart. While it may be cosmetic (maybe not), there's a psychological aspect to hitting a ball that isn't pristine looking. "That would have been a perfect shot if this ball wasn't all chipped up!" Again, other than they way they hold up, these are great balls.

I tried ordering a bag and balls and the website is a mess. It will not accept info via autofill or manual. The 800 number either rings and rings or is busy. I gave up.
