JG, Your answer is almost word for word what it said on the instruction sheet for the 'Lodge' cast iron Dutch oven I bought last month at Wal-Mart. Designed in USA but built in China, Previously made in Tennessee.

Q: Anyone knows what the bristles are made of? Is it synthetic or made of boar?

Doesn't smell like boar. May be a blend, the brush smells like a poly-blend.

Q: can you use the scissor for nose and ear hairs?

You could, but the scissors are very poor quality. If you are buying this primarily for the scissors, I would look elsewhere.

Q: Does this come with scissors, or is the picture false advertising?

It comes with everything in the picture. Including the scissors. They’re not too shabby, actually. I loved all of this, including the scissors.
