First time I have taken this product. Interested in it’s antibacterial, anti inflammatory and mood potential. Have not picked up colds when those around me have been ill. Mood has been good at what can be a difficult time of year with the shorter days. Will certainly finish the order with a view to renewing.

The capsules are just over half full of this liquid extract and are easy to swallow. I have found them effective in keeping down generalised and age related aches, pains and inflammatory levels. Curcumin has other subtle benefits so all in all I find it's a good all-round supplement to take for overall health.

This product is very strong and should be used with caution. I have used Turmeric supplements before, but never as concentrated and potent as this. So what’s the problem? Although turmeric itself IS a natural ingredient, when it is concentrated in this form, it effectively becomes a drug and is quite unnatural. I had some blood tests carried out and the doctor immediately asked me what “blood thinners “ I was taking. When I replied that I wasn’t, he said “ you must be.. what are you talking?” If you are having surgery, you must tell your doctor/surgeon as this product will have an impact. Ideally you will need to come off it for weeks prior to any procedure. Do tell your health care specialist; it’s vital. They may give you that withering eyes-raised look, but just tell them. Any procedure such as a cortisone steroid injection into a joint could be compromised by this. I had such an injection and did not tell my doctor. The result was a big flare up - more than the so-called “cortisone flare” that can sometimes occur. Fortunately an ultrasound showed no lasting harm, but any thinning product (such as warfarin) can cause a joint bleed which is why a doctor will always ask if you are taking thinners. If you are taking this, you are, effectively. You have been warned.

This is - IMO - on a par with another brand of Curcumin (Smarter Curcumin. U.S.) and is EU-made. I bought this because it is also in liquid form and its efficacy is comparable. I only need one capsule per day and after about 3-4 days my knee felt 100% better (old sports injury damaged the back of my patella, then last year I twisted same knee!). it is also a really good price (cheaper than UK brand Nu-U product of same strength/size) Of course - after Brexit , it will probably be more expensive!!!!!

I started taking this supplement because my fingers were starting to ache and click. And when I say click I mean an audible clicking like clicking fingernails. I read how curcumin could help with achey joints, so I brought a powdered capsule brand from Amazon which gave a bit of relief but the clicks were still there. I then did a bit more research and learnt how liquid curcumin is often better absorbed by the body as it's more bioavailable. So I swopped to Elixirvit and I must say it has worked! It probably took a couple of months for the clicking to disappear and my fingers now feel less achey and more supple. This is my fifth time of ordering this brand and I hope they continue to make it.

I bought these specifically because my elder relatives and old pets have moved onto curcumin. In this lock down I’ve not really been that active and have had various back issues. By day 5 I feel a lot better. Back issues have gone, better sleep, less muscle aches and knee issues. I knew it worked but didn’t know it was this good.
