I guess this is mylar tape?
Okay, so apparently this doesn’t stick very well to several materials described in the 1 star reviews. Fortunately for me, it sticks great to mylar, which is what I’m using it for. The tape as thin as mylar, too. When I joined two pieces of reflective mylar with this tape, it blended so well that you can’t see the seams on either side. Just for giggles, I did try to stick it to smooth wood. It didn’t stick well. I gave 5 stars because it worked well for my purpose. In fact, I’m going to buy a second roll at some point in the near future.

Nice but thin and Hard to use
This is more decorative type, because pretty fragile. Pretty but uncomfortable to use because very thin and easy to make folds.

It’s foil tape, but awesome!
Got this for a school project and was NOT disappointed! It’s called duct tape, but it’s not actually that. It’s thin foil tape, it’s not strong, but if you’re looking for gold and shine this is it!

Thin tape
This might be my fault because I thought I was getting a product like "duck" tape with good adhesive properties. This is thin tape that doesn't adhere well to wood surfaces. It is very shiny, which is great... just won't stick well to wood crafts. It may be great for "duct" work, but that's not my area, so I'm not even sure about that.

Winter Doldrums
I have put a four piece wooded frame around my widow AC and in the winter, I insulate inside it to block winter wind that blows against it and into my house. A piece of plywood covers the whole of it until next summer and a picture hook allows me to hang a picture totally blocking the AC. The picture is a little narrower than the unit and I run the gold tape along both sides of the plywood, which doesn't do anything but brightens the doldrums of winter and covers any flaws from previous nail marks. 'The gold tape stuck nicely.' The photo I hung is of a leopard and it all looks so attractive to me that I kind of hate to take it down when necessary. There is plenty of tape left for next season.

Horrible yellow color
Do not have your hopes up or waste your money unless you like a horrible yellow/green gold. It is not bronze at all which it what I hope for. I went with gold metallic duct tape instead. Its also very thin and rips so bad that you waste more tape than you use. It sitting collecting dust because I don't like literally throwing my money away
