Great for r/c field
March 2026: Looks like 1 of the 2 windsocks is torn. Will order a replacement. If the replacement doesn't last 1 year will be looking for an alternative. FYI this is in the Chicagoland area where we get all kinds of weather. Extreme heat. Extreme cold. Wind. Rain. Snow. July 2025: We used these for our RC modeler field. Put them on long steel poles at each end. They're light which is good, not sure how durable. Price is good though we can replace as needed. They indicate wind even as low as a few mph.

Nice windsock. Was fun for a decoration for my bike. Clip broke and had to be replaced after 2 days. Otherwise, I like it a lot

Easy to see!

Essential in fire season
Serves the purpose. My last one lasted about a year and a half, pretty sturdy. Easily clips on my flagpole in summer to show wind direction in case of wildfire. Color is highly visible. Has inspired others in rural community to put their own up. Had a neighbor pay for the replacement as he said he looked at it regularly to compare winds at his place to winds at mine. Had a wildfire about a half a mile from us, and this gave us the Peace of mind knowing that the wind was not blowing towards us.
